- My best man was kind enough to give me this Legend of Zelda Manga Boxed Set for my birthday - thank you! The set includes 10 volumes written and illustrated by Akira Himekawa ranging from Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask, Four Swords to the Oracle games, A Link to the Past to Phantom Hourglass and The Minish Cap. @@NintendoCollecting i know this is extremely late ( and i mean extremely late - so late in fact that i shouldn't bother and especially as someone already corrected you ) but while the UK is on the European tectonic plate, it isn't very European and has its own currency. haha but awesome unboxing exactly what i was looking for, just picked one up and was wondering what it looked like, cheers mate, also subbed my guy

Oh man, you beat me to it, haha. Have this full set as well, but one of my issues was cut pretty poorly at the factory; so a bunch of the pages are off centre and missing cells. Worth millions!? Sadly no. Thanks for sharing man!

In Brazil all the mangas were released as a "perfect edition" with each with 2 mangas in each

I found the "Link to the Past" one at a thrift, but that's the only one I've found (I know it was before they were talking about reissuing this as a box set recently so I don't know if maybe some of the games weren't translated at the time - according to my database it was released in 2005 in Japan and my copy of the translated version is from 2010). Been slowly reading through all of the random manga volumes that I have accumulated (mostly either the 1st volumes of a series, or more, usually in order [most I've found on the cheap like that is the first 7 of Death Note). Anyway, it took me a few volumes to get used to not only reading pages from right to left, but also the speech bubbles and comic panels.

The Legend of Zelda manga series is a good read. I'm only missing Minish Cap, Oracle of seasons and Four Swords part 2.
I own ocarina of time book one, and it just occurred to me that i have never read it. I did read the Four Swords from my friend, who was kind enough to let me borrow.
When it comes to manga, i would buy two. One to save intact and untouched, and the other to bend and wear the pages while getting that deep reading experience.
Love the manga series, especially the ooa one. Too bad we dont have the box set where I live, so I hab to buy them separately.

My school library actually has these. I've only had the interest to read the OoT and MM ones. They're pretty neat for what they are, Zelda comics, but definitely not that great in terms of stand alone manga in my opinion. They're fun reads though.
Lucky, I wish my school had these books, I might get a dragon ball z monga though.
I suggest the four swords ones it is fun reading the conversations between the four links and it has a very good story

I used to have some of these, and I always thought they were really cool, especially reading from right to left. The Majora's Mask one was my first manga ever. Also, you pronounced manga wrong. It's "mahwn-gah" or "mon-guh."
I got it 50% off at a clearance sale in a bookstore :P
It’s a little bit different from ocarina of time the temples are shorter but it’s still a great book I have the legendary edition for ocarina of time

It's pronounced mon-ga, not like the beginning of the weird Mango.
Kwinston Wilborne i'd describe it more like the way Germans pronounce man/mann (or english for that matter) - if you say it's like "mon-ga" that would be interchangeable with "mawn-ga" which is the way that people who think they speak japanese think it's pronounced (i don't want to use the word weaboo, but really)
