Believe it or not, I'm still using a cheap one I got from Princess Auto at least ten years ago, probably closer to fifteen years ago. I've changed the battery (I think) but it's still working fine. Admittedly I don't use it very often. They're great for working on cars as you said but they're perfect for when you go camping and don't get there till it's already getting dark. They're awesome for getting set up in the dark. Good for late night walks down to the outhouse too!

Yeah they really worth their weight in gold at midnight and the outhouse calls lol

Good info on this light Bud. I like the different battery options. I have some similar to this that I use during hurricanes. I'll probably be grabbing a few of these now, Cheers Bud!

Yeah both comes in handy when you go through the rechargable you put regular in while the other is charging.

How's she goin'? These look pretty nice eh. I have a headlamp now that has a bunch of different modes and you have to plug it in to recharge. These lamps with their separate batteries might be nice to have in the tool box!! Take 'er easy!!

The rechargeable battery is really tight to get in so shame you did not show how to put these in, especially as could not find instructions at first as hidden inbox.

Good point, i never thought to show that. But yes tight for sure.

Oh to bad, maybe they dont have them anymore. But a friend of mine did get some about 2 months or so, so maybe the ones that dont do as much inventory were only ones that had any left. Thanks my friend for stopping in.

I had the usb part of a old cell phone and used the usb cable that came with it. In my shed i have the two usb built into my power strip. Not sure if that helps.
