This was very helpful. I didn't realize that there is a correct way to find an empty channel. I think this may be why I've been having random dropout problems. Can't wait to test this to see if it solves the issue.
I've only had my box for a few hours right now, but these instructions don't seem to be correct. SOOOO. Yes, you use the transmitter pack to find an open frequency. Yes. BUT, the SYNC button on the receiver box will send whatever channel it's set to to the transmitter pack! WRONG! So.. what seems to work for me is: use the transmitter pack to find the open frequency. THEN, on the receiver box, use the arrows to go to "PRESET" then YOU HAVE TO set the channel. THEN, when you use the sync button, it will then send those settings to the pack. Seems like you MUST use the preset and set button and set the channel yourself. Then if your buddy has a pack and wants to sync to you, THEN you use the sync button for a secondary pack. Ya?

So I’ve had mine 4 months and all of a sudden the transmitter and receiver won’t connect. Even after a power cycle it’ll stay connecter maybe 2 min then I lose connection and cannot sync back

However from time to time there is a drops-out (usually 2-3 times per one song). Sometimes its even more often. Like it turned off for some 500ms and turn on again. Really like bump down for a half second, but instantly working after this jiff. Sometimes its really disturbing, because its random and it slightly clicks. We tried different frequencies and setup, positions etc. Do you have any clue what it may caused, or any suggestion what we are doing wrong?
Hi there, it's possible that it could be gain staging that may need to be adjusted between the board and the TX, as something could be clipping that is causing the unit to drop in volume. i did exactly this, turned out to be a faulty set, got a new one in a week or so. Been working flawless since@@sennheiser
