Ive been on that janna grind and i never know when to take aggro runes unless im with my duo. I feel jannas poke is decent but if my adc dosent wanna fight janna feels so bad in lane

HOB in lanes u can play aggresive and actually get autos off ( generally other enchanters or melee supports you can easily cancel their engage like alistar or rakan), Aery in lanes that are losing or less interactive as its just overall a better scaling rune than HOB. A lot of the depends on ur ADC matchup as well since it determines how the lane will actually play out. But if u think u win lane with ur duo vs theirs HOB if you think u lose aery would be the easiest rule to follow
