At 8:40 when John cracks up laughing and tells Pat and the boys that they can have as much time with him as they want because it’s the most fun he’s ever had in an interview was monumental. Interviews have got to get redundant after so many and probably are annoying at this point so the fact Pat can actually help them have fun with it is pure genius.
I felt very proud in that moment, to watch this progrum with all of you. THANK YEW PAT & THE BOYS
Doing interviews can be repetitive, and it’s nice to talk to someone who knows your background and is a big fan.
this isnt a dig, but cena is trying to be like the rock in the aspect of he understands how much of a moment is and tries to make it about the person and give all of him to them. And it is amazing how much cena and the rock value their fans and try to make them feel so appraciated and loved

Can honestly say that Pat's podcast/show allows people to genuinely be themselves and connect with the fan base. I loved the authenticity of this show! Always been a Cena fan, looking forward to his DC show.

They say he’s not a journalist. But I enjoy his interviews more than any other. If he’s not a journalist. He’s one of the best at whatever it is he’s doing.
He’s a host man. Like the tonight show but unedited and with sports talk mixed in. It’s amazing. One of the guys does do lots of research and booking etc and I’d say they were journalists for sure.
He's what a journalist SHOULD be. If he had a column in a paper that paper would sell out weekly. Is he a "textbook" journalist? Nahhh. But that's why he's loved. He studies his interviews, asks the smart questions and even when he reports on football or sports he gives the best reports. Unfiltered, unbiased just. Sports. Journalism as it should be.

@@cameronjuntti4749 I mean, fair. When I say biased I mean he reports EVERYTHING on everyone and every team. We all are biased as sports fans but he leaves no story untold regardless of how ugly it is or against that team he is. Make more sense?

John’s brother and mother are two of the nicest people I’ve met while living in his childhood town. John is the most requested make a wish person ever, and he delivers.

This is what interviews should be like. No one wants to hear the same old, cliché questions being asked over and over. They wanna hear people engage in real, authentic conversations. And IMO that starts with the interviewer having a genuine, personal interest in whoever they're interviewing and what the subject matter is. If you don't have that interest, the interview isn't gonna be as engaging and is really just a waste of time. Obviously, Pat only invites people on his show who he has a genuine interest in. That's why it works -- because it's real.
This is so true! Interviewing is an art that few seem to invest in properly nowadays. The PMS does it right and always has insightful questions for guests that brings out the best. Seriously my favorite show and look forward to it everyday!
I absolutely agree. I watched a recent Joe Rogan podcast and he was asked how he gets his guests and said he only invites people who he is interested in. I think Pat does the same thing. Because of that is why I enjoy Pat's show so much especially when he has ball players on, we get to actually know the players which is a boon for fans and players.
If it were authentic he would him why he apologized to the Chinese government. Don't confuse authenticity for the perception of authenticity

Pat's interview felt different. And I can finally figured out why. It's the other guys that're barely on screen at all. They didn't really talk, didn't ask any question, but they laugh, so loud, and so free. They made the interview feels like it's just a chat between a group of friends, so natural. They help the guests to be more comfortable, and brought out the human inside of them. It's great. I love it.

Pats interviews are on point …his energy is unmatched…he actually follows up with his thoughts after each answer as oppose to just moving on to next questions like most people do. Good stuff

Peacemaker came to be a surprisingly great show this year. From the way he portrayed the character. It was the polar opposite of what I was use to seeing from him in wwe. N that made the show even better. I hope he gets more roles like this in the future

It led to anticipation for every show and fans were treated to a bunch of great matches. Many of them were among the best bouts of that year.

James Gunn is literally one of the best filmmakers in the world, and the fact that he created an entire show around John Cena says a lot. Cena is so freaking smart, and he has a natural charm that just shines through in everything he does. I'm thrilled for his success.
I'm also thrilled for Pat. I've been a fan since his days at WVU, and he's always been entertaining. Both these guys deserve their success, and I would happily watch an entire season of them talking.
