Sir, I replaced my mi note 10 lite imei, now its finger scanner is not working, i want to install update firmware. If i install firmware after unrooting my device, will it imei be changed or remain same.
Depending on how you want to flash the device, IMEI is not supposed to change except if you do otherwise.
If i replace it with mi tool. Will it imei change or remain same

I edit the IMEI using qcn rebuilder and also restore the edited qcn file to my mobile. but IMEI hasnt changed in my mobile. why?

First, backup the QCN in your device, the erase QCN from your device. After editing the QCN, restore it to your device.

Whenever I save my IMEI via imei rebuilder. It tells me illegal characters in path
Make sure there are no space left, don't copy n paste, manually type the IMEI to avoid blank spaces.
