The most basic amd bare bones explanation of A Silent Voice : when he was little MC bullied this girl because of her disability ( pretty obvious what it was ) , flashforward and now he is in highschool and they ended up in the same class once again and he's trying to make it up to her since he realized he was a piece of shit . Fun fact : the manga for this movie is written bythe same person who wrote "To Your Eternity"

A Silent Voice is about a boy named Shoya who bullied a deaf girl named Nishimiya in elementary school. After she moved away, he lost everything. Including who he thought was his friends, and it made him realize how bad he wronged her. So when he ends up reconnecting with her, he tries to make amends and build a friendship with her.
I heavily suggest it. I adore the movie.

honestly this was the most beautiful movie i've ever watched. it was so so so pretty, and the plot and story really hit me hard and i aint never break down crying to a movie before but this movie actually broke me .
