I was at the game right behind the dugout and watching freeman play was a treat. He’s been so good. And the fact he and kwan ignored the person running on the field cracked me up. Great game. Started rough but this team fights as always
@@Nick-jd5ge josh has had trouble bending over to field his position properly on multiple occasions this year.. just think about that. good thing he hits nukes
Great show, gentlemen! Has anyone noticed Kwan isn't running at 100% I wonder if the hamstring isn't full recovered. Have a cottage on the Cape and go to at least one game every summer.
I was at the game, McKenzie does not have the best demeanor on the mound also. Like him to be more like Josh. Don’t get too down and pump yourself up when in a tight spot.
Another great podcast guys. Jeff, on sac bunting-sorry.... I DO get it, and haven't argued your points all these years. Decided I WOULD like to touch on this one. So, Tyler's bunt. Without getting into the analytics, at least note (assuming you agree), that IF the staff has put the bunt sign on, EXECUTE IT. Tyler did, and credit to him for it!! There are some places where I still like the bunt, but I DO yield to doing it much less than decades ago (like vs Bob Gibson on a high mound). So, only asking ya give a successful bunt some props, even as you understandably make your analytics point. My biggest gripe about the sac bunt is how often it isn't successfully made.
No thats a terrible bunt because it takes the bat out of Jose's hands that was one of the worst ones of the whole year because you end up hurting your teams chances
Looked into the Cape Codd League and was shocked to see they play these games at shanty high school fields. Classic Park in Eastlake is way way nicer than the fields they have these guys playing at. Sort of hard to believe.
They are historical parks that have become historical I believe all games are free unlike the rest of the wood bat leagues and everyone loves going and spending a summer scouting the Cape
1. About the hollywood only doing sequels and remakes. That industry (at this point) has chosen to not recover from 2008 economic crisis. The studios prioritize pre sold entities with a baked in fanbase so they can hedge their bets in terms of making their money back. It's partially why when we do see something original we all go "HEY HAVE YOU SEEN THIS YET?" then you have something like WB canning an already completed movie for a tax break that was a presold entity (Coyote v. ACME) and depriving us of more Will Forte content which is just a massive bummer... 2. I know you both have mentioned a couple games worth of performance don't change mindsets when it comes to the CWS, but does that apply to pitchers whose coaches essentially light their arms on fire for a chance to win? 3. Why am I going to be disappointed when its not a Bazzana/Mathis or Sorota at 1.1 and 1.36 4. Love Tyler Freeman success, and if the Naylor Brothers get right this year could be incredibly fun. 5. Great show!
Triston continues to survive that awful advanced data on his four-seamer. I'm gonna resign myself to crossing my fingers each time he goes out there. Kayfus continues to produce in Akron, 2 for 4 last night.
Allen nibbles sticks arm hanging on a thread. Williams shouldn't be brought up until throws 90 to 100 pitches. G o after fedde Anderson and silverlino.
@@Nick-jd5ge I wonder if Triston would have gotten surgery if Shane didn't get injured, and the fact that they are contending has put on ice any thought of surgery, and he is just going to power through.

Also the hit by batter was tough hearing the sound of his head being hit by 100 mph fastball was brutal. Glad Dunn was ok though
Team never gives up
Thank you for the broadcast
thank you for watching
Happy to see the Naylor brothers get some hits and RBIs!
Enjoy josh will be traded this winter. Kyle manazando is his replacement. Josh can be a free agent after 2025 season.

Orleans Ballpark is on the side of an elementary school.
That is interesting never been to the Cape once myself
I love rush hour!
I will pass it on to Justin
Great show guys! I was wondering if you think it’s safe to get excited about Bazzana. He looks like a guy we need in CLE
I would love to have him and hope he is the guy
We got one ☝️ back go Reds
you did a fun series
I like Tabler as a color guy
Couldn’t agree more 👍
I agree 100%
You know who else has a low opinion of the WBC? Jose Ramirez. Keep at it Jeff and keep up the great work all around to both of you
he was not allowed to go due to injury
Josh is on pace for 40 HR's & 140 RBI
that would be amazing
Not if the sample size is the last three weeks. I hope he turns it around and gets back to the May Josh Naylor!
Sticks needs a 94+ fastball and a curve for a strike. Then he’ll become much more consistent

Yeah he still looks like a shell of his former self right now to me
We dominate the Cincinnati Reds in the all-time series
they really do

Control all over the place = 101 to the dome piece...
he has had excellent control all year weird thing there with him
Nobody thought Clase hit him on purpose. He was trying to save the game.
I agree so much
Any thoughts on Taylor Ward as a trade possibility and does he fit?
Guardians interested in ward according to trade rummors around mlb.
Would love to see it has been a favorite for a few years
What is with Hamilton missing calling the games on the radio?
Ya what's with that
Well hes 69 and just doesnt want to travel as much as he used to, probably wants to see his kids and grandkids more
He is taking some vacation time
We need Quantril back he has a 3.30 era in Col. make it happen.... Team is playing well....
he has been incredibly lucky and has 1 good pitch regression is coming
@@LockedonGuardians We need to get team Canada ready for the next world games
I have a question. Do you think listeners can be "everydayers" when you take weekends off? Lol. Keep up the good work brothers!
Aye they are hardworking men give em a break
Most definitely!
If Steven kwan keeps up his hot streak, he has a chance to get his average above .400
going to be so hard to do but crazy how well he has played

they sometimes have streams through the league website
43 go Guardians
and getting closer daily
Spoils belong to the winners
tis true
so what are they gonna do with straw? no way they buy him out or cut him now......
he will live in AAA and they will pay him
Klass A, the pitch gotta way. Fact HE pitched n the zone 100+ all except 1 pitch.
He is still fantastic overall
I’m hearing actual ❤ for TFree?!? From Jeff? In this economy? 😮
😂
Ftr, 103 wRC+? There’s more to come. Trust
