Great interview! When Misa said that the elder generation speak/spoke "Taiwanese," I think she was referring to Hokkien, which is a Chinese dialect spoken in southern mainland China that is not mutually intelligible with Mandarin. Same thing with Hakka, although there are fewer Hakka speakers in Taiwan. The only "Taiwanese language(s)" are those spoken by the indigenous Austronesian people, who are a small ethnic minority. Taiwan is basically ethnically Han Chinese (specifically Fujian province) with a big Japanese influence/outlook and the tropical climate of Southeast Asia. Really fascinating country. 🇹🇼
LOL I laugh at their 4 seasons reference. Talking like they live in Canada or something. HAHA . I mean , maybe mountains for the winter sports, but ya, 4 seasons takes on a new meaning here in Canada. They’re welcome to experience our 4 seasons and compare to Japan. Might think ours are ‘too extreme’. XD Love, from Canada.
Melさん、こんにちは!😎😎😎 Thanks for your comment! Oh wow, you are from Canada! It's summer in Japan. Recently it's very hot and humid.😅😅😅 Hope it's good weather in Canada!
@@kensanokaeri It’s quite hot right now, 30’C and humid. This is the height of summer in southern Ontario. It’s quite hot, but Ill take that over when it dips to -20’C and icy!! Fall and Spring can be quite wet and rainy (and cool) which, after a long winter can feel draining. So, I’m ok w/ the heat and humidity and low rainfall. (Whilst others are crying that there’s ‘not enough rain’). I disagree with them. XD
I love snowboarding and mountains too 😊 we have many ski areas and resorts here (even the largest in the world). I don’t think I could live in a country where I can’t go snowboarding, luckily japan has it all :D I love japan 😅
Ken san, off topic. You were with Yusuke san one time, in Aichi, were he was staying in your house. The video ended when you were stepping to grocery shopping. Was there a douga grocery suite kaiwa for that? Can you link it here on your reply if you have a video on that. itsumo arigatou, Ken to Yusuke mo.
rosarioさん、こんにちは! Unfortunately, we couldn't film a video at the grocery store we went to because it was prohibited there ... Instead of that, I posted a video at the cafe where we went in the next morning. I'm still looking for the chance to shoot a video in a grocery store. But it's quite hard to do it here. So please be patient and wait for a while.

Your videos are far far good than the minna no Nihongo kaiwa.
ありがとけんさん

Misa san: I want to go to one-person karaoke.
Ken san: Yes, let's go snow skiing and snowboarding.
