We’ve had our dog “king“ for about a decade now. I wish I had her colt. Looking forward to more horsey content. And I actually have watched a few of your mechanic videos to. Can you tell me, can I do an ECM reset by just disconnecting the battery for five minutes and then reconnecting it? I think I heard somewhere or you can disconnect the battery and turn on the headlights, while disconnected and then reconnect the battery, and it should reset the ECM. On a Toyota matrix.

I made the Social Shires channel because I have lots of horse video and dont want to dillute this channel with so many. My subscribers are mostly for car and tech here. So Sub to Social Shire, I'll be posting lot more videos there. As far as ECM reset, most current cars cant be reset this way. It was the case until the late 90s but no more. A cheap obd2 scanner would be able to clear all the common engine codes. Toyota matrix were a good product, worth fixing as long as it`s not too rusty.
