Eva excellent video and very inspiring at the same time. One always gets ideas to pick up the camera and photograph something after your tutorials. The length of the segments is also well-timed. Just keep it up. 👃👏
This was really interesting. Most interesting creative ideas I've seen about photography on UA-cam. I think this video may inspire me to take up photography again. Something new!
Hi Eva, thank you for such an inspiring video complete with a do-able challenge. I loved your approach so much that I have "subscribed". Now off to try the challenge. Thank you 😊.
Yes, keep in mind that the closer you get to the subject the shallower your DOF will be, so in a way the f# is not the only factor, your specific lens also pays the role
Soft focus used to be called out of focus. Multiple exposure used to be called forgetting to wind. Reflections used to be a bit of a shame. The world is changing...
Last year I took a picture. In the one photo I had five views because of reflections. It was a strange looking photograph. It was so strange, I am not sure I saved it.

After 45 years I grew a little tired of photography, but this has inspired me to maybe pick up my camera again and try something new. Thankyou :-)
Go for it!
Always check your settings! A lesson I am working to remember. I mess up a lot on that one. Thanks for the reminder, Eva.

Thank you! I’m glad that you like them :)
For soft focus you can smear a dab of petroleum jelly on a UV filter. Also placing light panty hose over your camera lens can give a similar effect.
Lots of ideas here.
Thank you
Beautiful pictures, good for inspiration. Can you tell me where can I get the soft filter? Thank you.
You can find them online. Thank you!
4:28 Always check your friends… This image looks nice ;-)
How did you do the multiple exposure?
Just changing the camera setting?
Yes, I camera has an option for multiple exposure and I can choose up to 10.
My macro lens is f2.8. Is that going to be enough for the things you teach?
Yes, keep in mind that the closer you get to the subject the shallower your DOF will be, so in a way the f# is not the only factor, your specific lens also pays the role
