115 days after losing the Ashes, Australia reclaims the urn with a 150 run win at the WACA. Check out all the highlights from the five days of Ashes action here.
just the polar differences in morale too between the sides, england drop some sitters and everyones all grumpy then you got the aussies who were up and active all game taking some absolute belters, haddins catching behind the stumps was near perfection all series, the bottom edge on stokes was a gorgeous catch
Aus literally hammered the England left right and center that series,That was nightmare for us and absolutely painful to watch as an English fan@@connorgarvin2056
I feel like Michael Carberry is one of the unluckiest cricketers of all time, definitely deserved more than 6 tests imo. Especially with dismissals like this one and that one when it rolled back to his stumps.
Yeh - me too - was the ball of the summer - despite all the brilliant ones that Johnson, Harris, Lyon and Siddle bowled... That was an absolute corker... The way it swung late - virtually unplayable, and would have got almost anyone playing it !! Unlucky for Cook - he copped a few other Jaffa's besides that one.
I still remember those cracks on WACA. One of the Commentator entered his wrist onto one of those cracks. one of the worst pitch ever. But loved it how pacers used it in day 4&5
how can the waca be blamed for perths really hot weather. its just unfortunate that it was that hot. there would be the same problem at the MCG or adelade oval if it was that hot
corey F its not about the heat. its the problems with the food, the bad shelter and the seating. its not up to standard thats been set with the Adelaide oval or the MCG. and i live in Perth btw
Cameron Long No, you have it all wrong. Its not about the food, the shelter and the seating. Its about Perth's small population and the lower attendance which would be achieved at the WACA which would mean that there would be less profits...
cohen200 No, you have it completely wrong. The stadium is shut down for rebuilding because the major lack of shelter, lack of food varieties and the WACA just generally is getting too old, just like the Adelaide oval. Get your facts straight, even if you are corrected after 6 months.
@@maanasravishankar5465 when Austraila got any wicket those stupid commentators are celebrating but when England got any wicket then those bullshit are stay quiet. That's he want to say.
Nothing better than seeing the Poms getting an arse kicking in cricket....or in anything else for that matter. And especially good if it's the Aussies doing the kicking. :-)
Harris's ball to Cook...ball of the Series, no disrespect to Mitchell Johnson, who was an irresistible force all summer.
Actually, I reckon that one that Watson bowled Carberry with seemed a bit better to me.
Harris to Cook is the ball decade.
That's bcoz of those cracks ...
@@santanusharma6967 Yeh that Johnson ball to Cook in the 2nd test was it? No cracks but what a strike, his castle smashed!
@@spateri728 agreed
Batting, bowling, fielding, captiancy, execution everything was on point by Australians. Never seen a better all round performance like this.

Geroge Bailey coming in at 6, and Haddin coming in at 7. Such a good batting lineup.
'Australia needed someone to stand up, and today it's Steve Smith'. What a prophetic statement.
I feel like Michael Carberry is one of the unluckiest cricketers of all time, definitely deserved more than 6 tests imo. Especially with dismissals like this one and that one when it rolled back to his stumps.
This was Steve Smith's first test hundred in Australia !
Yawn 🥱
whenever watson nicks it "oh no"
As I read this he got out AND he said”oh no”
Keerthan Vemulapati IMAO
Watching this to see all the wicket celebration and Australia's dominance in the ashes!!!!
Man gotta love Aussie Summers!
Sandpaper?
6:43 an absolute gem of a delivery from Ryan Harris 😍

Ete said that
Joe Root and Shane Watson make a great DRS couple
Just make sure Joel Wilson is umpiring
@@lulu74ify The perfect combination.
Great LBW couple aswell
@@PennYHalp Yeah, man, great LBW decision as well!
Dont forget Broad
Outstanding performance by the Australian this ashes..
Specially Mitchell Johnson ❤️
I've seen this match live and what an innings from Ben stokes - a fighting Hundred
Probably the most underrated aussie batting line up.
0:29 Oh no.
MarcusAurelius ha ha I heard that
I always forget about that
Who said this?
Aviral Gupta Shane Watson
Australia were a dominant side when they had players like Watson, Ryan Harris, Johnson, Haddin and Clarke!
I still remember those cracks on WACA. One of the Commentator entered his wrist onto one of those cracks. one of the worst pitch ever. But loved it how pacers used it in day 4&5
I love warner celebration when he gets cook out at 2.57-2.59
u gotta feel for Cook,First ball of the innings and he faced a gem of a delivery from harris
I love how root is actually good at reviewing now
Love what Watson said when he edges the ball
27-31
That is absolute gold!
Lynx Ah no
Hilarious how Warner 'celebrates' when he catches the ball off that crack.
natso2001 yep
natso2001 Ye 😂😂
I can't tell if you know warners joking or if you believe he was serious???
@@mondop5270 I'll let you decide!
Are y’all serious?!
Stokes and bell played quite well. It is never easy to chase 504 in 4th inning still they reached 340+ that's quite better
It's never actually been done
This test had so many highlights
How can they stop playing here, with such a brilliant cricket wicket?

What a match this was. Still loving it 😍😍
Watched on live.. Those days were remarkable...
9:44 look at the state of the pitch
ryan harris first ball is an absolute beauty!
Mitch decimates the England batting order ...!!! Awesome fast bowling with terrible wild aggression exhibited ...
"decimates"? Pretty sure he got more than one wicket...
08:54 , that was unbelievable by Lyon
Hit a crack.
8:56 Ball of the century
Watson and smith great batting pair.
One of best test match at waca
Ryan was a great bowler. Unlucky due to injuries.
It’s crazy how they hit so many sixes from the top order batsman. Nowadays they rarely hit a six
0:28 I love the audible, “oh no”
Back when lyon had hair
And stokes didn't
Vision Shader lolol
Kishor Shingade lol
Lol
A great hundred from ben stokes at the WACA❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
so rare watching smith get out before triple digits
bailey won 100% of the tests he played in - he only played the 5 games in this ashes series
Benstokes 🔥.. What aa player 🔥🔥
Is it a pitch or desert land ?
3:21 umpire gave a sign to take the review
The umpire indicated that he reckoned there was an inside edge.
6:10 Warnie: Village!
Brodee Kitchin-Fitz what does he mean?!!
+Henry Collins Very poor cricket
Steve Smith the legend of the game 🙌🙌
Was the pitch damaged by an earthquake?
7:02 did they REALLY challenge this?
I have to say as an Englishman everytime Australia come to us they compete whereas we always fold like a deck of cards
Without Australia🇦🇺 cricket is nothing
How much sandpaper was used on that wicket?
0:28
That "Oh no" sounds like Watto
6:35 Look at Anderson the swing master only in swing pitch conceded 105 in 2nd innings
Clouderson exposed without dukes ball & green top
2019?
Gem of commentary
Ben stokes whatta player .. talent right there
best. series. ever.
Weird How all 4 100 's were brought up by 4's
2:41 back of the bat
8:18 memories of Simon Jones at Brisbane in 2002
why does CA have ads in every video when the NBL (which has a lesser income) does not???
Since when does Anderson bowl 140 kph
Surely we get the end of innings animation again??
All Watson shots full balls my god Swann gave him soo many and got smacked so much
You just cant compare this aussie team with the aussie team of 90's and early 2000's they had to face some real tough bowling.
Those cracks on the pitch 😳
Bro it's the waca what do u expect
@@user-bj5qi8ec6y no it’s not. chennai is a dusty wicket that doesn’t bounce but spins, and waca is a dry and very hard pitch that bounces
The screams when Australia achieve something and the sigh when England achieve something the commentators stay quiet
Mubashar Khan because England didn’t achieve anything 😂😂

8:54 omg
Lol
8:57 what was that?

Watto everytime he got out,"ohhh no"😆
Current Aussie team needs some of that.
aussies have two genuine fast bowler compared to england's medium bowlers
Haha funny to see smithy using a slazenger
Root edges the ball says he hasnt hit it but he did same has happened in wc2019
When your naked sleeping and your parents pull off the cover 0:29
Repeat the 2006 ashes.. ❤️❤️
the misfields of England were hilarious 😂😂
what a hot moment
7:58 Wow
👌👌👌👌
This Australian team>
7:38 look at the guy in the crowd thats appealing
Even he heard the knick😂
This is the match when bailey first tried a SQUASH BALL
Ryan Harris... That was a peach of a delivery...
Great team
2019 we won the ashes again.
Benn Winkler reidy incorrect we retained the ashes not won them
2019 ashes drawn
Is this is. A pitch ? 5th day
How could this be in the it says 115 days after losing the ashes Australia reclaim the urn but isn't ashes after two years
Australia toured England during the English summer in 2013 and then England toured Australia 2013-14
Wonderful
8:56 what was that??
Oh that’s spectacular 0:37
NICE TEST MATCH. I LOVE AUSTRALIA.
Cracking pitch
To think root and stokes have never won a test in Australia. 9 0 and finn record is 2 1 and never lost an away series he has played in.
