Sat in a beach cafe in India on a 6 month break from winter van life in the UK, looking for inspiration of what to do next to sustain this life. At 55, Im aware of time ticking away slowly, no plans to return any time soon, no job to return to, limited funds to live on, but happy and free. This video turns up just when I needed it 🙏
Another video, another synchronicity. The pathless path is exactly where I am currently, no job and where I'm at they're extremely difficult to come by for a man my age. This circumstance is causing me to focus on more creative avenues in order to succeed so this video really hit home. Thanks for posting this.
8:54 freelancing is a constant hustle too tho. Until you establish yourself by gaining clients it's not like money is chasing you. You are still chasing the Almighty Dollar.
I've found that 7 years at one 'jobshare' was usually my burnout time, and I would usually quit, or get fired, buy a ticket to another country and deprogram myself and then when I return I'm usually open to some part time skill, but my passion is photography and refuse to monetize it.
Why would I invest substantial time into a job I hate? No,I've done enough job jumping to find things I like to do,and do those things for fun and money. I work part time 5 days a week for a friend, and freelance for other friends consistently. I don't have to work full time at something I don't like and be miserable. I feel sorry for people stuck in crappy jobs they hate, just to pay the bills. That sucks. But you are the only one who can better your situation,no one will do it for you. I've heard, if you find something you like to do, and make money doing it,you'll never have to work a day in your life. I think that's true. Peace ✌️
i been thinking about this type of issue for awhile now. work for me right now is miserable and soul destroying. the whole 9 to 5 is mechanical by nature and it was designed that way on purpose. when people identify with their careers/jobs there is no time to look within. people are busy everyday and this causes them to be distracted and unable to achieve a higher conscious life. hence why society feels very mechanical and egoic. these things don't let humanity grow into more evolved states of consciousness. where we are at currently, humanity is honestly stuck and don't know how to get out of this rut. a lot of this though does have to do with fear and desire, a fear of the unknown, uncertainty yet a desire for comfort and safety.
Offices are finally moving away from the industrial model of useless busywork. People are seeing that creativity makes much more money, and requires time spent doing nothing.
My working life is non-profit. I look after people who can't look after themselves anymore, for money. Other than that I have zero interest in working, except for the good feeling of not having to get up on non-work days and earning enough to cover my costs.
Is work even worth it anymore? 'Nobody wants to hire anymore and Nobody wants to work anymore' The system already collapse, and the new world is coming.
Hopefully society starts seeing the value in buying and getting goods and services from more independent and local entities. Corporations have really showed their ass the last decade. (They really have throughout history, but most don't read history) Buying from big corporations has basically given them power over society and this is an issue because they aren't democratic and they are clueless to how actual human beings live besides the interactions between you and their products.
I'll never understand why Luther and Calvin didn't just become Orthodox but instead decided to launch a thousand new schisms, with (at best) mediocre results.
I rejected Modern Employment along time ago it’s not worth the effort anymore Big companies don’t care about they’re employees they treat them like lambs to the slaughter I say fuck that and reject it give it a big middle finger and take control of YOUR life it’s YOURS people work for yourself not for psychopathic criminals at the top.

Remember being asked the question, What do you want to be when you grow up? Not, WHO, but WHAT...
Yeah. That was like 5 americas ago LMAO
We have millions of people who are obsolete, and didn’t “keep up.”
Well said... It's What U do... Not Who you are... And how Unconscious is the World.. Shame

💯 ...same with being an independent contractor or self-employed.

You’ve allowed my friends to change their perception into the realm of perspective

Freedom ❤
Wild how true this is.

Are we looking at the beginning of a new kind of world?
Thats what we've been living in since 2016, and it is changing more and more rapidly.
Is work even worth it anymore?
'Nobody wants to hire anymore and

The system already collapse, and the new world is coming.

Damn! Are we NPCs staring into our own abyss?
If there's anything else i can help you with, feel free to ask!
Neo-existentialism?
No wisdom, but at least not extreme stupidity.
