Helix is literally the best roller coaster ever... I was at liseberg for a few days ago and I literally only rode helix because it was so great. I’m from Sweden btw
You missed out on Balder and Lisebergbanan? They're both great too. Also, the log flume at Liseberg is amazing

Definatley adding this to the list of great rides...so many pops and hops smooth turns...you realy do get what you pay for with mack rmc and b and m...wish more parks spent the money on quality manufactures.
One of the best coasters I've done and significantly better than anything else Mack have done too (not saying they're no good because they're excellent).
When in Liseberg do like this: 1st Lisebergsbanan, it is actually very good. Then go for Balder, a superb wooden coaster. After that try Helix as many times as you want. When tired go for Valkyria. Do not miss Atmosfear. And finally get to Loke, IMHO the hidden treasure of Liseberg. Very very good!!!
So true, ALWAYS ride Lisebergsbanan first, otherwise it will be boring because it doesn't feel scary at all

What impresses me is the ride length is a minute and a half.

@@gavtv6541 inverted loop. A loop with the upper wing surfaces on the outside, instead of the inside, of the curved flight path; sometimes called an outside loop or a bunt.

Considering Maverick is my favorite coaster... This looks amazinG!!
Maverick is more intense, but I prefer Helix (just).
I was on ibuprofen for a couple of days after riding it. Absolutely terrifying!

Nice POV Guys. Went on helix 5 times last month & absolutely loved it.
IMO, it wasn’t my favourite roller coaster at the park, that goes to Balder.
LOL, helix has better airtime hills than balder, and the only good thing about balder is the airtime hills 😂

looks quality, is that an expensive trip? is the park and surrounding areas expensive? you have had a great year travelling to parks buddy , thanks for the work and sharing
I went there for a 2 day city trip two years ago. Flight from Gatwick to Gothenburg was about £70, while the bus from the airport to the city centre was about £15. 2 Day pass for the park was about £55 and I stayed at Le Mat B&B which was about £100 for the two nights. Of course prices and exchange rates vary but I hope this gives you a good idea of what to expect.
stoge100 It can be done really cheap with Ryanair, it’s usually the hotel that can be pricey

@@Txm22 What helped me was to go to a family friendly park (Europapark) for three days and train myself up. I started on day one with the smallest coasters, by day three I'd ride everything in that park. Repeat that pattern for two years, now I'm thirsty for the thrill rides.

Did the addition of seatbelts impact the operations much? :)
Also Helix is absolutely no DC Rivals.
When the seat belts were retro fitted beneath the original restraints, it slowed down the operations so much. The new lapbars with the seat belts fitted into them don't slow things down too much.

the Big Train Guy This was built 4 years before Icon
Mack bought the rights to use Liseberg's train design on other coasters, so Icon got the same train design from Liseberg when it was built

It wasnt actually scary at all. Maybe, because i was sitting in the middle and didnt really understand what was going on :D But the wooden one is way cooler imo :D
