Yup, I have this glitch and to be honest, I didn't even know. It's the first time I've had a new villager replace an old one, so I just assumed the houses stay the same regardless of who is in them

i had this really odd glitch that I've seen no one else talk about, I was in Sydney's house and went to leave like normal. She waved bye and my villager walked out... but the black screen never came, the camera was stuck staring at Sydney whilst she just stood there. I waited at least 5 minutes but nothing happened so i just closed the game and reopened it and it was all back to normal.. it's not game breaking, just inconvenient... and creepy...

One way to prevent the wrong house one is, instead of going multiple days forward at a time to move them out, go day by day so that the game will register the empty plot. If you don’t give the game space to register that the plot is empty, that’s what causes that glitch.
Just a little thing about Celeste: Celeste only shows up on *clear nights.* she won’t show up if you don’t at least have the potential for stars that night.
I had the house glitch with marshal. The inside is right but the outside looks like the old person house. While that sucks I try to live with marshals house being wrong since everything else is fine. It the marshal ambio card I used so I just wait till marshal wants to move out or a campsite visitors replaced him to try to get him again. So at least I have a back up for him which is great since I adore him.
Same thing happened to me. I invited Gayle to move to my island when I found her on bamboo island, but she doesn’t have the Cute Lovely furniture set. 😭 She has more of a minimalist furniture set with bookcases. Nintendo needs to fix this!
I got this glitch 3 times, two times when I time travelled backwards while the villagers were moving to their new houses, and the third when my Zucker amiibo moved and I time travelled FORWARD 3 days to complete the moving process, so the safest method is to time travel day by day until the villager has moved in completely, and then time travel backwards if you wish (at least it worked for me).
Exactly I can confirm as I WILLINGLY tried to glitch the houses because I don't like some exteriors. So I had it done a few times. If you travel backwards it's 100% it will glicht forward however it seems to depend on the days you skip if it does glitch or not. I am not sure what causes it. So you can use it to your advantage if you want a specific theme or everyone to have the same house 😂❤️
Celeste's appearance isn't purely random, there is one condition that is required for her to potentially come to your island, it has to be a clear night, she will never appear on nights with clouds.
I had Scoot "forcefully" moved out because Wolfgang was at my campsite, but when I time traveled to have Wolfgang moved in already, the house exterior was the same. I really wanted to see what the outside of his house looked like, but I'm having him leave soon anyways. By the way, I really like your voice! I don't know how to say this without it coming off as strange, but your voice is really cute! Love your videos, keep up the great work!

I actually found a way to get the right house exterior, you have to move the house to a different location, wait a day, and the problem is fixed, but you need to pay Tom Nook 50k to move the house
2:36 This video is quite old but I’ll explain it a little more detailed for curious people. There’s a rule in Animal Crossing where the most recent (aka the second villager in this situation) to ask to move out, cannot move out before the first villager. But in this case, the second villager is forced to move out so the new villager can move in in the period of time Animal Crossing allows. The first villager was supposed to move out first since the second cannot, according to the rules. But because the first villager couldn’t move out, they glitch out and become unable to move out because the game already thinks that they’re out of your island. I hope this satisfied some people’s curiosity ^^
When Raymond moved in and Agnes moved out (RIP Agnes) the different house glitch happened to me as well and honestly Raymond looks better in Agnes house and Idk why
Waitin for a patch to have Audie's proper exterior rather than her just having Kitt's exterior. At least she now lives on my island now tho and that's really all that matters to me.

I time-travelled to fix the "I've moved out" glitch and just ended up with the house exterior glitch instead. 😂 (I was moving in Dom to replace Canberra, and Canberra got the "moved out" glitch. Fortunately, their exteriors look fairly similar anyway, so I don't care too much.)
@@endergirldragon It's because if you bury money in a glowing hole (one that you just dug up money from) then you can get a money tree which grows even more money. But if you cover the hole, you can't get a money tree from that. (I'm gonna assume you didn't know about this mechanic so lemme give a suggestion: Bury either 10,000 bells if you can or otherwise just 100 bells.)
I had the 'forever in boxes' glitch yesterday when someone came to take my villager to their island at the same time as the update- so online services crashed when they were leaving and before the system save. They did get the villager however I received the glitch. Easiest fix I found was to invite a second person to take the villager home. Once they queued to leave the second time, they left and the plot was properly empty.
Omg I’m so happy other people know about the exterior glitch!! I was so scared when I moved in Audie from Phoebe and I accidently moved back time to my current time on the wrong day, bc I was too excited to get her.
Frank F. Yea I tried everything involving a resident’s house including trying to move it. Idk if anything I do would make a difference bc I think the game sees Audie’s wrong exterior as the right one, so I don’t think the game would change anything abt it.
I was still think abt something tho. I wonder if Phoebe is anywhere in the code of the game still since I have her house even tho she’s gone, but that’s the only part abt her that could still be in my game
That villager crafting all day thing reminded me, once I had someone over online and at one point they said “oh hey it looks like Norma’s crafting a tiny library”. I needed one so I ran over to Norma’s house and she wasn’t doing anything, but later that night (and like it was several hours later) I booted up the game, checked in with all my villagers, and Norma was crafting a tiny library. It was weird.
Okay so I know this video is almost a year old but there seems to be a glitch that when I try talking to my villagers, they screen zooms in on me and them as if we were gonna talk, but then it instantly zooms back out.
the first one happened to me when i got marshal, as i time travelled too “quick” i have marshals amiibo so i kicked him out and re-scanned him. you can still time travel to speed up the process of them moving in but DO NOT go back to the original date until your villager is at least in boxes. it ended up working for me, and he has his og house back! (note: as she stated, this isnt guaranteed, and it may not work on the first try.)
I actually want this to happen to me. I plan on kicking out a villager and replacing it with an amiibo. But I don’t like the amiibo villagers house. But then again, if the glitch gets patched, it’ll just go back to normal anyway....guess it’s not worth it.

It's not because you time travelled, it's because you time travelled past the day where the house turns into a plot and says SOLD with the new villagers name on it.
This glitch has happened to me twice. When I go into a villager's house and they give me a new recipe, if I had a tool equipped when I entered the house, and now attempt to read the new recipe before leaving, then the game crashes. I believe this has something to do with how the game handles tools while you're reading a recipe (the game gets confused, as you have the tool equipped but don't at the same time). I think they could easily fix this by having the tool actually be removed from being equipped. I sometimes find it irritating when I leave and my character puts the tool back on. Not to mention, you can't unequip it when you're indoors. Annoying. >.< This has caused me to try and always remove tools before going indoors.
I have this glitch where i go ahead and try to talk to a villager and it gets in the position but just stops and exits? I try again but it stops after a millisecond and wont let me talk to them, at all. Even if i hold down or spam a it wont let me. Surprisingly it does let me talk to villagers, but only if its important like if they ask about nick names or get mad if i put my net on them, can somebody please help? Ive tried resting my console, saving and leaving but nothing works.
Once, I found Fuschia singing outside and decided to try talking to her. She had the same dialogue as if she was crafting in her house, she even gave me a DIY recipe. After I ended the conversation, she went straight to her house and continued crafting. It was so wierd, because it's like the boxed villager crafting glitch, but she was outside and not even playing the crafting animation...
I've been in the situation where there are two villagers in boxes, altough I think there is another fix for that problem. I had Mira moving away that day but Aurora was at the campsite, I tried to see if she could ask Stu to move out and after some tries she told me that Stu wanted to leave. Now I had both Stu and Mira in boxes (Now comes the "fix" or maybe so "prevent" part). Before the day passes you have to bring someone to the island with an open plot, talk to one of the two villagers that want to leave and convince them to go to their island. When that said person leaves, the villager who was invited to that person's island will leave automatically, you don't have to wait another day for said villager to leave and the next day the remaining villager will leave normally. In my case I had posted a message in the web page "Nookazon" selling Mira so I recommend doing the same. I didn't know about this glitch but thank God I selled Mira. I hope this helps ^^ (Sorry for broken english).

I was going to buy turnips but it was already 1 P.M. I missed the buy time, so I decided to time travel back so I could buy them. I didn't like having my switch time at an incorrect time, so I time traveled back. (I'm sure we all know that time traveling can make turnips spoil) However, my turnips didn't spoil at all... I'm curious if you can time travel on Sunday without spoiling your turnips, or if I just got lucky...
Once zucker was crafting for a frickin year. I time traveled to next year to make it stop because he was already crafting nonstop for 3 days and he was STILL CRAFTING!! But at some point I found that glorious, “I’m on a snack run.” Sign. Them I couldn’t find him for an hour. I looked on every square inch and checked every building. Then I reset my game one more time and found him singing. But not glitch singing. Just singing :)
I've had a problem and I'm wondering if some could help- Recently, apple moved off my island (I didn't force her) I went villager hunting and found zucker and invited him to my island. When I got back to my island, it said the plot was sold and that zucker would be moving in. The next day, the plot said it was available, and there was no sign of zucker. I thought maybe it would autofill the next day, but I came back the next day and it still said plot available. Does anybody know how to fix this??
A weird thing happened to my game yesterday were I was walking around my town and I saw that Diana was standing right in front of her house staring at the door doing nothing as if she was about to go into it.I tried to talk to her but she did not say anything, I also tried to push her around which also did not work,I even tried to use an emotion to get her to do something but that didn’t work either. I shut down my game and when I went back on she was in her house but it would not let me in. Luckily the next day it was fine but pretty strange still. Haha just felt like I should share that 😂
I found a glitch. If you time travel after you give a villager an item, when you go back to the current date IRL, there will be 2 of that exact same item you gave the villager. I'm surprised that it never got patched yet.

Henry does not play the crafting animation. He just stands there with his hammer in his hand. You can still get a DIY, but it throws visitors for a loop.
I’ve found a glitch in new horizons when trying to go to someone else’s island (this may never happen to you but it has to me) it’s a glitch where your forever be stuck in the connecting to internet text and no error will pop up
4:00 - OOOOOOH!! That makes so much sense now! But that also means that Celeste has visited me five times and none of those times were during a meteor shower. Just clear nights. I guess I won't know what it looks like to actually HAVE a meteor shower event then.
One glitch that I’ve found, but is super easy to fix is... If you plant a money tree, but the full grown tree doesn’t have enough space, it just disappears. All you have to do, is move the tree while it is still little.
3:39 I got this glitch when I got someone I wanted in the campsite and I “kicked” Broccolo out, who happened to be crafting at that time, so always check which villager is crafting before you go to the animal in your campsite I guess, lol

Not a glitch, the catchphrases spread like that. However, if you dont want a certain villager saying that catchphrase, you can always talk to isabelle about the way that villager talks to reset their catchphrase
The other day I was talking to Roscoe as he was sitting outside under a tree and when I spoke to him, he was acting as if he were using his crafting bench and ended up giving me a DIY recipe. He didn't make the motions like he using his crafting bench but spoke like he was. I thought that was pretty weird

I've played every day since launch and I've had a bunch of shooting stars in one night, but I've never had Isabelle or any villagers tell me about a meteor shower.
About the "Celeste glitch", I always happen to have a meteor shower whenever celeste shows up. You need to start looking at the sky around 10:30pm. Take note if you look at the sky at night, assuming celeste is present what you need to notice is the clouds if theres a lot them you need to wait till later deep at night. 8pm to 10pm is often cloudy which means no meteor shower and you'll have to wait till 11 at most then start looking at the sky again. For me at least I haven't miss a shooting star around 10:30pm as long as Celeste is present. I know this because I just completed all the zodiac furniture just now through time travel DAY BY DAY. Don't rely on Isabelles news too, night by night whenever I Timetravel I always look for Celeste if shes present on your island which is a pain in the ass if you do it night by night lmao. Overall what Im trying to say is CELESTE = SHOOTING STAR you just need to get the timing right. Too many clouds in the sky? wait for an hour or more and keep checking per 30 mins. Good luck hunting stars.

I had the exterior glitch bc I time travelled. I kicked out the villager with the wrong exterior and moved a new one in. If you move a new one in it dissapears but Im not sure if its guaranteed
I had 2 villagers move out on the same day before, nothing happened they moved out as planned. hmmm.... Also I have the exterior glitch, it happened when I time traveled to past :( I tried moving the house to rebuild it in a different spot but it didn't fix it. It happened with another villager cuz I wasn't paying attention but kicking her out and re-inviting her fixed it. But I would normally never do this cuz I don't like losing the friendship I have with villagers.
now I've realized it when Elvis moved out and Walt moved in, Walt had Elvis' house but I haven't discovered the glitch and thought that Walt and Elvis had the same house since they have the same personality
As for the first glitch, where they keep the old home. You can time travel FORWARD until they are at least in boxes, this will be in their proper (big I’d do it so they are unpacked and properly moved on just in case) only then can u time travel back to present time and they will have their proper house

i had a glitch happen to me once. basically what happened is that i was playing with a friend and we went over to Ankha’s house. when we left, it was the exact hour when Ankha needed to go outside. When my friend left Ankha’s house at the same time Ankha did, something weird happened. Ankha was stuck in the animation of her leaving the house. She did the animation over and over again until my friend left my island. The glitch only appeared on my screen though, since when i asked my friend about it she said she didn’t see anything happen. I have a video of it but since you can’t really show videos or photos in the comment section and stuff, the only way for me to show it would be on social media. Hi I know I might be late but I think I have a glitch. You see Lolly asked to move out and I said yes Lolly you can moved out and the next day it was normal I went villager hunting but found no one I like so the next day no one moved in then I decided to time travel another day. I went to the empty plot and it was not sold then I wanted to time travel 5 days but no one moved in I got freaked out and I decided to time travel a month when i did it, it was empty I a little scared I hope you can find a solution thank you.
so the other day i sold Marshal to someone and i guess they time traveled to get him to move in faster because it said "I've moved out" it was fixed the next day that he would be gone anyways so i'm pretty sure that's the only way to get that glitch. I believe Nintendo patched the one where they'd be that way forever.
I have a glitch where sometimes my villagers mention there’s a guest at my campsite but when I go to my campsite, there isn’t anyone there. Isabelle doesn’t mention it either
i made a second character home and time travelled so i could just pay it all off instantly/have all the rooms for storage... and now i have those nook package boxes permanently in my living room just chillin' and i get rid of them, so i'm having to decorate around them
I've noticed that the reason the villagers spend the whole day crafting is if your pockets are full when you speak to them and they can't give you the DIY, so they wait for you to come and fetch it the whole day
I had the issue a few days ago where the villager house said they had moved out. I talked to the person who picked up sprinklrs and they time traveled to get them to move in. The plot did go to construction next day with a sold sign for the amiibo that I had asked to kick her out to start with and they moved in just fine.
One problem I dont know if this counts as a glitch but parts of my island are super laggy but the next day it's fine but somedays it's super bad and it all started after I downloaded some designs from the kiosk I've tried resetting my switch, deleting the designs, and even removing trees and furniture from the spot. Also other days my whole island is super laggy . Help I dont know what to do!
I used this glitch to give Zucker Pekoe’s house exterior cuz I really like her Japanese themed house and thought it fit Zucker really well. From what I understand, the glitch happens when you time travel too far forward when a villager is moving in, or you time travel back in time while they’re moving.
QUESTION: so june moved out yesterday, raymond is taking her place through the campsite. june old plot has the no-house thing with the fence and sign that says "this plot is reserved for raymond". so uh, chrissy just asked to move out, and i want her to leave. but i don't want to risk getting a glicthed plot, is a glitch possible with me telling chrissy to leave?
This may have been a glitch, but the first time I had KK slider show up on my island I noticed that once my villagers walked into the plaza they would appear to be stuck. They would still turn to talk to me when I chose to, but after that they’d continue to just... stand there. They had stuff in their paws/hooves too. They didn’t seem to be watching KK as he warmed up in the plaza either. I had to (gently) push them out of the plaza to free them from their trance.
I’ve seen a couple people talk about it but, let’s say while you are time traveling or just playing normally Isabelle says there’s a camper. But while she is talking you spam b in your controller. Then when you go to the campsite there’s nothing. The glitch ofc patches itself (I mean like continuing to not spam b while she is announcing there’s a camper) but it’s still an issue as more and more people have been using the campsite method to find villagers.
This happened to me 2-3 times while time traveling. It’s a shame that you can’t skip through her announcements by spamming b (as of rn) there’s no permanent way of fixing this glitch but instead of spamming b just read through what she has to say if there’s no news spam b.
For the first one I came across this since I time travel alot. A way to fix this is to ONLY continue moving forward don't go back when they agree to move in on you're campsite. So once they agree to move in, forward a day to see the making of their house ( the sold sign). Time travel forward to them them moving in, this should show what they're exterior looks like. Once that happens you can travel back in time. So to conclude travel forward during the moving process...
I want to tell u a problem that i had in acnh, Idk if its a glitch or not but uhm There was shooting stars and i kept on making a wish but when i checked to see if there were stars in the beach but i didnt find any, i went around my whole entire island 2x but i still didnt find any 😔 Another problem i have is, i cant find celeste during the shooting stars, i even searched where she could be in google and it said that i can find her near the beach so i checked but i couldnt find her 🥺 If u know what i can do please tell me (Anyone)
I have a new patch for a glitch! This was the in boxes forever glitch, but I think they put a patch, if not the patch was there forever. Here is what happened: Chrissy asked to move out, so the next day she was in boxes, Megan appeared at my campsite. I took her, and then she asked for Chrissy to move out, and I said yes. The plot stated that it was reserved for Megan's new home. I am not sure if this is a patch though.
I keep having this weird thing where all of my villagers are using each other’s catchphrases? Peggy asked me if she should change her catchphrase, so I said she should say “sugar” instead. Overnight about three other villagers have now started saying “sugar” without me telling them to. It’s so frustrating.
so I have a pretty huge glitch that no one else has experienced. if I time travel and go back... It doesn't go back. if the seasons changed, they'll change back, but I'll keep flowers, mail, villager friendship levels, etc when I go back. The first time it happened, I had also unlocked everything by the time I was back which was frustrating because unlocked terraforming was what I had been working to. also, i time traveled back in time to try to fix it. it said there was an empty plot normally, but after going back, a villager moved in.
I've actually had exterior glitch happen for two villagers I have now. One was Tasha, who I moved in via Amiibo, but who kept Zucker's exterior when he moved out. That one was an easy fix, cause I just used her amiibo again to bring her back later, and she has her correct exterior now. Unfortunately, the other one is Raymond. I moved him in naturally via my campsite (Lucky me!) and he kept Bertha's home exterior even though I waited two days for him to get fully moved in.
I didn’t even know my Dotty’s house was glitched until now omg, I just kinda assumed Robin and Dotty had the same exterior after Robin moved out lol

I had the house glitch with marshal. The inside is right but the outside looks like the old person house. While that sucks I try to live with marshals house being wrong since everything else is fine. It the marshal ambio card I used so I just wait till marshal wants to move out or a campsite visitors replaced him to try to get him again. So at least I have a back up for him which is great since I adore him.
Funny! I had the glitch with Marshal too. He had Octavian's exterior.

Same thing happened to me. I invited Gayle to move to my island when I found her on bamboo island, but she doesn’t have the Cute Lovely furniture set. 😭 She has more of a minimalist furniture set with bookcases. Nintendo needs to fix this!

I got this glitch 3 times, two times when I time travelled backwards while the villagers were moving to their new houses, and the third when my Zucker amiibo moved and I time travelled FORWARD 3 days to complete the moving process, so the safest method is to time travel day by day until the villager has moved in completely, and then time travel backwards if you wish (at least it worked for me).
Exactly I can confirm as I WILLINGLY tried to glitch the houses because I don't like some exteriors. So I had it done a few times. If you travel backwards it's 100% it will glicht forward however it seems to depend on the days you skip if it does glitch or not. I am not sure what causes it. So you can use it to your advantage if you want a specific theme or everyone to have the same house 😂❤️
did you resolved the glitch by kicking him out and then re-inviting him without TT back during the moving process?

Celeste's appearance isn't purely random, there is one condition that is required for her to potentially come to your island, it has to be a clear night, she will never appear on nights with clouds.
I had Scoot "forcefully" moved out because Wolfgang was at my campsite, but when I time traveled to have Wolfgang moved in already, the house exterior was the same. I really wanted to see what the outside of his house looked like, but I'm having him leave soon anyways.

I actually found a way to get the right house exterior, you have to move the house to a different location, wait a day, and the problem is fixed, but you need to pay Tom Nook 50k to move the house

2:36 This video is quite old but I’ll explain it a little more detailed for curious people.
There’s a rule in Animal Crossing where the most recent (aka the second villager in this situation) to ask to move out, cannot move out before the first villager. But in this case, the second villager is forced to move out so the new villager can move in in the period of time Animal Crossing allows. The first villager was supposed to move out first since the second cannot, according to the rules. But because the first villager couldn’t move out, they glitch out and become unable to move out because the game already thinks that they’re out of your island.
I hope this satisfied some people’s curiosity ^^

(I was moving in Dom to replace Canberra, and Canberra got the "moved out" glitch. Fortunately, their exteriors look fairly similar anyway, so I don't care too much.)

But if you cover the hole, you can't get a money tree from that. I had the 'forever in boxes' glitch yesterday when someone came to take my villager to their island at the same time as the update- so online services crashed when they were leaving and before the system save. They did get the villager however I received the glitch.
Easiest fix I found was to invite a second person to take the villager home. Once they queued to leave the second time, they left and the plot was properly empty.
Oh ok that's an easy fix, I'm going to do that because julian is forever in boxes and has been in boxes for 3 days lol😭

Frank F. Yea I tried everything involving a resident’s house including trying to move it. Idk if anything I do would make a difference bc I think the game sees Audie’s wrong exterior as the right one, so I don’t think the game would change anything abt it.

That villager crafting all day thing reminded me, once I had someone over online and at one point they said “oh hey it looks like Norma’s crafting a tiny library”. I needed one so I ran over to Norma’s house and she wasn’t doing anything, but later that night (and like it was several hours later) I booted up the game, checked in with all my villagers, and Norma was crafting a tiny library. It was weird.
Okay so I know this video is almost a year old but there seems to be a glitch that when I try talking to my villagers, they screen zooms in on me and them as if we were gonna talk, but then it instantly zooms back out.
the first one happened to me when i got marshal, as i time travelled too “quick”
i have marshals amiibo so i kicked him out and re-scanned him. you can still time travel to speed up the process of them moving in but DO NOT go back to the original date until your villager is at least in boxes. it ended up working for me, and he has his og house back!

I actually want this to happen to me. I plan on kicking out a villager and replacing it with an amiibo. But I don’t like the amiibo villagers house. But then again, if the glitch gets patched, it’ll just go back to normal anyway....guess it’s not worth it.

It's not because you time travelled, it's because you time travelled past the day where the house turns into a plot and says SOLD with the new villagers name on it.
This glitch has happened to me twice. When I go into a villager's house and they give me a new recipe, if I had a tool equipped when I entered the house, and now attempt to read the new recipe before leaving, then the game crashes. I believe this has something to do with how the game handles tools while you're reading a recipe (the game gets confused, as you have the tool equipped but don't at the same time).
I think they could easily fix this by having the tool actually be removed from being equipped. I sometimes find it irritating when I leave and my character puts the tool back on. Not to mention, you can't unequip it when you're indoors. Annoying. >.< This has caused me to try and always remove tools before going indoors.

I have this glitch where i go ahead and try to talk to a villager and it gets in the position but just stops and exits? I try again but it stops after a millisecond and wont let me talk to them, at all.
Even if i hold down or spam a it wont let me. Surprisingly it does let me talk to villagers, but only if its important like if they ask about nick names or get mad if i put my net on them, can somebody please help? Ive tried resting my console, saving and leaving but nothing works.
The one I got was Isabelle and everyone said there’s was someone at the campsite and they got my hopes on but there was no one

Once, I found Fuschia singing outside and decided to try talking to her. She had the same dialogue as if she was crafting in her house, she even gave me a DIY recipe. After I ended the conversation, she went straight to her house and continued crafting. It was so wierd, because it's like the boxed villager crafting glitch, but she was outside and not even playing the crafting animation...
I've been in the situation where there are two villagers in boxes, altough I think there is another fix for that problem. I had Mira moving away that day but Aurora was at the campsite, I tried to see if she could ask Stu to move out and after some tries she told me that Stu wanted to leave. Now I had both Stu and Mira in boxes (Now comes the "fix" or maybe so "prevent" part). Before the day passes you have to bring someone to the island with an open plot, talk to one of the two villagers that want to leave and convince them to go to their island. When that said person leaves, the villager who was invited to that person's island will leave automatically, you don't have to wait another day for said villager to leave and the next day the remaining villager will leave normally. In my case I had posted a message in the web page "Nookazon" selling Mira so I recommend doing the same. I didn't know about this glitch but thank God I selled Mira. I hope this helps ^^

I was going to buy turnips but it was already 1 P.M. I missed the buy time, so I decided to time travel back so I could buy them. I didn't like having my switch time at an incorrect time, so I time traveled back. (I'm sure we all know that time traveling can make turnips spoil) However, my turnips didn't spoil at all... I'm curious if you can time travel on Sunday without spoiling your turnips, or if I just got lucky...

Once zucker was crafting for a frickin year. I time traveled to next year to make it stop because he was already crafting nonstop for 3 days and he was STILL CRAFTING!! But at some point I found that glorious, “I’m on a snack run.” Sign. Them I couldn’t find him for an hour. I looked on every square inch and checked every building. Then I reset my game one more time and found him singing. But not glitch singing. Just singing :)
I've had a problem and I'm wondering if some could help-
Recently, apple moved off my island (I didn't force her) I went villager hunting and found zucker and invited him to my island. When I got back to my island, it said the plot was sold and that zucker would be moving in. The next day, the plot said it was available, and there was no sign of zucker. I thought maybe it would autofill the next day, but I came back the next day and it still said plot available. Does anybody know how to fix this??

A weird thing happened to my game yesterday were I was walking around my town and I saw that Diana was standing right in front of her house staring at the door doing nothing as if she was about to go into it.I tried to talk to her but she did not say anything, I also tried to push her around which also did not work,I even tried to use an emotion to get her to do something but that didn’t work either. I shut down my game and when I went back on she was in her house but it would not let me in. Luckily the next day it was fine but pretty strange still. Haha just felt like I should share that 😂

I found a glitch. If you time travel after you give a villager an item, when you go back to the current date IRL, there will be 2 of that exact same item you gave the villager. I'm surprised that it never got patched yet.

I’ve found a glitch in new horizons when trying to go to someone else’s island (this may never happen to you but it has to me) it’s a glitch where your forever be stuck in the connecting to internet text and no error will pop up

One glitch that I’ve found, but is super easy to fix is...
If you plant a money tree, but the full grown tree doesn’t have enough space, it just disappears. All you have to do, is move the tree while it is still little.

3:39 I got this glitch when I got someone I wanted in the campsite and I “kicked” Broccolo out, who happened to be crafting at that time, so always check which villager is crafting before you go to the animal in your campsite I guess, lol

Not a glitch, the catchphrases spread like that. However, if you dont want a certain villager saying that catchphrase, you can always talk to isabelle about the way that villager talks to reset their catchphrase

The other day I was talking to Roscoe as he was sitting outside under a tree and when I spoke to him, he was acting as if he were using his crafting bench and ended up giving me a DIY recipe. He didn't make the motions like he using his crafting bench but spoke like he was. I thought that was pretty weird

I've played every day since launch and I've had a bunch of shooting stars in one night, but I've never had Isabelle or any villagers tell me about a meteor shower.

About the "Celeste glitch", I always happen to have a meteor shower whenever celeste shows up. You need to start looking at the sky around 10:30pm. Take note if you look at the sky at night, assuming celeste is present what you need to notice is the clouds if theres a lot them you need to wait till later deep at night. 8pm to 10pm is often cloudy which means no meteor shower and you'll have to wait till 11 at most then start looking at the sky again. For me at least I haven't miss a shooting star around 10:30pm as long as Celeste is present. I know this because I just completed all the zodiac furniture just now through time travel DAY BY DAY. Don't rely on Isabelles news too, night by night whenever I Timetravel I always look for Celeste if shes present on your island which is a pain in the ass if you do it night by night lmao. Overall what Im trying to say is CELESTE = SHOOTING STAR you just need to get the timing right. Too many clouds in the sky? wait for an hour or more and keep checking per 30 mins. Good luck hunting stars.

I had 2 villagers move out on the same day before, nothing happened they moved out as planned. hmmm.... Also I have the exterior glitch, it happened when I time traveled to past :( I tried moving the house to rebuild it in a different spot but it didn't fix it. It happened with another villager cuz I wasn't paying attention but kicking her out and re-inviting her fixed it. But I would normally never do this cuz I don't like losing the friendship I have with villagers.
now I've realized it when Elvis moved out and Walt moved in, Walt had Elvis' house but I haven't discovered the glitch and thought that Walt and Elvis had the same house since they have the same personality

As for the first glitch, where they keep the old home. You can time travel FORWARD until they are at least in boxes, this will be in their proper (big I’d do it so they are unpacked and properly moved on just in case) only then can u time travel back to present time and they will have their proper house

i had a glitch happen to me once. basically what happened is that i was playing with a friend and we went over to Ankha’s house. when we left, it was the exact hour when Ankha needed to go outside. When my friend left Ankha’s house at the same time Ankha did, something weird happened. Ankha was stuck in the animation of her leaving the house. She did the animation over and over again until my friend left my island. The glitch only appeared on my screen though, since when i asked my friend about it she said she didn’t see anything happen. I have a video of it but since you can’t really show videos or photos in the comment section and stuff, the only way for me to show it would be on social media. Hi I know I might be late but I think I have a glitch. You see Lolly asked to move out and I said yes Lolly you can moved out and the next day it was normal I went villager hunting but found no one I like so the next day no one moved in then I decided to time travel another day. I went to the empty plot and it was not sold then I wanted to time travel 5 days but no one moved in I got freaked out and I decided to time travel a month when i did it, it was empty I a little scared I hope you can find a solution thank you.

so the other day i sold Marshal to someone and i guess they time traveled to get him to move in faster because it said "I've moved out" it was fixed the next day that he would be gone anyways so i'm pretty sure that's the only way to get that glitch. I believe Nintendo patched the one where they'd be that way forever.

I have a glitch where sometimes my villagers mention there’s a guest at my campsite but when I go to my campsite, there isn’t anyone there. Isabelle doesn’t mention it either
i made a second character home and time travelled so i could just pay it all off instantly/have all the rooms for storage... and now i have those nook package boxes permanently in my living room just chillin' and i get rid of them, so i'm having to decorate around them
I've noticed that the reason the villagers spend the whole day crafting is if your pockets are full when you speak to them and they can't give you the DIY, so they wait for you to come and fetch it the whole day
I had the issue a few days ago where the villager house said they had moved out. I talked to the person who picked up sprinklrs and they time traveled to get them to move in. The plot did go to construction next day with a sold sign for the amiibo that I had asked to kick her out to start with and they moved in just fine.

One problem I dont know if this counts as a glitch but parts of my island are super laggy but the next day it's fine but somedays it's super bad and it all started after I downloaded some designs from the kiosk I've tried resetting my switch, deleting the designs, and even removing trees and furniture from the spot. I used this glitch to give Zucker Pekoe’s house exterior cuz I really like her Japanese themed house and thought it fit Zucker really well. From what I understand, the glitch happens when you time travel too far forward when a villager is moving in, or you time travel back in time while they’re moving.
QUESTION: so june moved out yesterday, raymond is taking her place through the campsite. june old plot has the no-house thing with the fence and sign that says "this plot is reserved for raymond". so uh, chrissy just asked to move out, and i want her to leave. but i don't want to risk getting a glicthed plot, is a glitch possible with me telling chrissy to leave?
This may have been a glitch, but the first time I had KK slider show up on my island I noticed that once my villagers walked into the plaza they would appear to be stuck. They would still turn to talk to me when I chose to, but after that they’d continue to just... stand there. They had stuff in their paws/hooves too. They didn’t seem to be watching KK as he warmed up in the plaza either. I had to (gently) push them out of the plaza to free them from their trance.
I’ve seen a couple people talk about it but, let’s say while you are time traveling or just playing normally Isabelle says there’s a camper. But while she is talking you spam b in your controller. Then when you go to the campsite there’s nothing. The glitch ofc patches itself (I mean like continuing to not spam b while she is announcing there’s a camper) but it’s still an issue as more and more people have been using the campsite method to find villagers.
This happened to me 2-3 times while time traveling. It’s a shame that you can’t skip through her announcements by spamming b (as of rn) there’s no permanent way of fixing this glitch but instead of spamming b just read through what she has to say if there’s no news spam b.
For the first one I came across this since I time travel alot. A way to fix this is to ONLY continue moving forward don't go back when they agree to move in on you're campsite. So once they agree to move in, forward a day to see the making of their house ( the sold sign). Time travel forward to them them moving in, this should show what they're exterior looks like. Once that happens you can travel back in time. So to conclude travel forward during the moving process...

Chrissy asked to move out, so the next day she was in boxes, Megan appeared at my campsite. I took her, and then she asked for Chrissy to move out, and I said yes.
The plot stated that it was reserved for Megan's new home.
I am not sure if this is a patch though.
I keep having this weird thing where all of my villagers are using each other’s catchphrases? Peggy asked me if she should change her catchphrase, so I said she should say “sugar” instead. Overnight about three other villagers have now started saying “sugar” without me telling them to. It’s so frustrating.
oh, that's not a glitch xd that's normal
so I have a pretty huge glitch that no one else has experienced. if I time travel and go back... It doesn't go back. if the seasons changed, they'll change back, but I'll keep flowers, mail, villager friendship levels, etc when I go back. The first time it happened, I had also unlocked everything by the time I was back which was frustrating because unlocked terraforming was what I had been working to. also, i time traveled back in time to try to fix it. it said there was an empty plot normally, but after going back, a villager moved in.
I've actually had exterior glitch happen for two villagers I have now. One was Tasha, who I moved in via Amiibo, but who kept Zucker's exterior when he moved out. That one was an easy fix, cause I just used her amiibo again to bring her back later, and she has her correct exterior now. Unfortunately, the other one is Raymond. I moved him in naturally via my campsite (Lucky me!) and he kept Bertha's home exterior even though I waited two days for him to get fully moved in.
