Imagine the time, before you were born: that's how it feels after you're dead, it's just logic. But besides that: even you as a believer should love this world, because it's a creation of god and therefore it can only be beautiful, because nothing bad can come from an almighty god. You should be more humiliate to talk like that about a wonderful place like this earth. I am Muslim , and my ex wife was jewish, and so was her family, they were afraid and against our marriage, and they thought she would convert to Islam and forced to wear hijab. 2 years later after our marriage, her mom and brother converted to Islam, even though I only met them on Holidays, and we only had small conversations about religion and god. Anyway, the marriage didn't work out because she refused to come to my country after I finished my college studies, and I cant stay in America because she knew im the only family member my parents have (we agreed before marriage that we will live in my country, with her parents blessing) We got a divorce, she then married a jewish man, 1 year later she divorced him. And married a Muslim man, now she is a happy muslim sister, with 2 Muslim kids. I recently came across a massive set of VHS tapes sent to my uncle(May Allah(SWT) bless him with Jannah), who was a very dear friend of Sheikh Deedat. Deedat used to send him a copy of every lecture or debate he would attend. Many unseen lectures and debates. It seems that for all of his intellect, Rogan is missing the big picture and obvious answer. I was raised Catholic and then become a Baptist as a teenager. I declared myself an athiest in my mid twenties and have been searching for meaning in life through the study of psychology and philosophy for the last 10 years. It has brought me nothing but bitterness towards the world, which is a miserable exsistance. I have been looking into Islam for the past few months and your channel has opened my eyes to the logical guidance in the Quaran. I do not speak Arabic and I find the pronunciation of many of the praises to Allah very difficult. How do I know if I go to a Mosque that it is one of good faith? My reason for my departure from religion was the hypocrisy of the church. I would greatly appreciate any advice.
Firstly, don’t make the pronunciation a problem for yourself. You can do the praises in English or your own languages as well. Learn the correct pronunciation on the side, but until you can there is absolutely no problem. As for the mosque: make sure that the mosque you (want to) go to follows the way of the Sunnah. How do you know that a mosque is upon the Sunnah? By comparing their beliefs and deeds to the two sources, the Qur’aan and the Sunnah. But since you’d need a lot of knowledge to do that, I’d just advise you to listen to trustworthy scholars of the ummah (like ibnu Uthaymeen, bin Baz, Saalih al-Fawzaan, al-Albani etc.) or search things up on IslamQA. Last but not least, pray to Allah to help you on your journey, for Allah does not turn away from someone who asks Him.
I had gone through a similar journey and I found that anywhere you go you find the sense of brotherhood amongst westerner Muslims but I wouldn't ask anyone for knowledge, that should be strictly from scholars. In my case I've been following Hamza Yusuf and Abdul hakim Murad and learning the Quran and the story of the prophet at my own from books. Welcome to the faith my brother, just keep being sincere and take it easy on yourself while on this journey 🌹
Subhanallah the Quran gives an answer for them in Surrah Al-Kahf ch.18 v.54 وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِى هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ لِلنَّاسِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍۚ وَكَانَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَكْثَرَ شَىْءٍ جَدَلًا We have surely set forth in this Quran every ˹kind of˺ example(or lesson) for people, but humankind is the most argumentative of all beings.

Brother Firas Zahabi wanted to have a Islamic discussion with Joe and if I remember correctly Joe seemed into it. Even Mohammed Hijab said he wanted to go on there and talked about it with Firas in the car if I remember correclty. Problem I think is, according to Joe, his schedules are booked months in advance, and I believe if Joe gets high profile people, he prioritizes them. He has been very dishonest when it comes to muslim. I think after he saw Khabib, he started being more open to the idea.
A good point Zakir makes us the more intricate the design the more intricate the manual. So a guidance like the Quran is one manual of the many manuals given to humans throughout the history of humans. I am Muslim , and my ex wife was jewish, and so was her family, they were afraid and against our marriage, and they thought she would convert to Islam and forced to wear hijab.
2 years later after our marriage, her mom and brother converted to Islam, even though I only met them on Holidays, and we only had small conversations about religion and god.
Anyway, the marriage didn't work out because she refused to come to my country after I finished my college studies, and I cant stay in America because she knew im the only family member my parents have (we agreed before marriage that we will live in my country, with her parents blessing)
We got a divorce, she then married a jewish man, 1 year later she divorced him. And married a Muslim man, now she is a happy muslim sister, with 2 Muslim kids.
Truth will always come to surface, you just lay the foundation, dont force them into people choice, and let Allah do the rest

I recently came across a massive set of VHS tapes sent to my uncle(May Allah(SWT) bless him with Jannah), who was a very dear friend of Sheikh Deedat. Deedat used to send him a copy of every lecture or debate he would attend. Many unseen lectures and debates. I am going to ask my aunt to allow me to transfer them to digital, then I will be posting them on UA-cam inshallah. Make Du'a that this path works out. It seems that for all of his intellect, Rogan is missing the big picture and obvious answer. I was raised Catholic and then become a Baptist as a teenager. I declared myself an athiest in my mid twenties and have been searching for meaning in life through the study of psychology and philosophy for the last 10 years. It has brought me nothing but bitterness towards the world, which is a miserable exsistance. I have been looking into Islam for the past few months and your channel has opened my eyes to the logical guidance in the Quaran. I do not speak Arabic and I find the pronunciation of many of the praises to Allah very difficult. How do I know if I go to a Mosque that it is one of good faith? My reason for my departure from religion was the hypocrisy of the church. I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Firstly, don’t make the pronunciation a problem for yourself. You can do the praises in English or your own languages as well. Learn the correct pronunciation on the side, but until you can there is absolutely no problem.
As for the mosque: make sure that the mosque you (want to) go to follows the way of the Sunnah. How do you know that a mosque is upon the Sunnah? By comparing their beliefs and deeds to the two sources, the Qur’aan and the Sunnah. But since you’d need a lot of knowledge to do that, I’d just advise you to listen to trustworthy scholars of the ummah (like ibnu Uthaymeen, bin Baz, Saalih al-Fawzaan, al-Albani etc.) or search things up on IslamQA.
Last but not least, pray to Allah to help you on your journey, for Allah does not turn away from someone who asks Him.
I had gone through a similar journey and I found that anywhere you go you find the sense of brotherhood amongst westerner Muslims but I wouldn't ask anyone for knowledge, that should be strictly from scholars. In my case I've been following Hamza Yusuf and Abdul hakim Murad and learning the Quran and the story of the prophet at my own from books.

The Quran explicitly stated life is a test, humans can think we can choose. It is something we experience ourselves we can read, listen to, speak. Everyone can think, speak, listen to whatever they like but it doesn't make it right. Only those who study the Quran, live by it, teach it is the successful one. May Allah guide us.
