@@MysticUmbreonif Turtonator is the number 1 most underrated fire type Pokemon, does that mean that if you do a top 10 underrated normal type Pokemon, will Drampa be number 1?
Great Video Mystic Umbreon!! You should do Most underrated Normal types Something so simple, so pure as a Normal type has the potential of being so powerful
@tdog I hope my boi gets trailblaze as well. They really should have kept scald. Competitive isn’t as fun anymore when most moves and availability of moves are gone😭 Flareon sits on a similar boat. It’s my favourite eeveelution but it gets shat on a lot
Chandelure is one of my fave Unova mons and I initially used Centiskorch on my first Sword playthrough but it wasn't great so I swapped it for Coalossal who did not disappoint
Glad Scovillain is getting love. I make salsa as a hobby so when I played scarlet and violet it became my new all time favorite pokemon. Sneasel has been my favorite since I was a kid.
If you're in the same gen as Arcanine and Charizard of course you're gonna be overshadowed, but I think Ninetales is still a pretty popular mon, to the point it got an Alolan form but Arcanine didn't
I got lucky to find a shiny Heatmor in Pokemon Sword and would love to see it get an evolve form and a baby form later on. As for what type I would like to see next it has to be the Dragon type.
I think torkoal is one of the best sun setters, and funnily enough it has to do with it's low speed causing it to set up sun after any other weathers, so it can stop politoed's drizzle since their abilities activate in order of their speed
Can you make a video on the ultimate team of shiny in hgss/sgss ranking the top visually and based on still being a good team. Maybe with like a visual theme. Bonus point for teams that are easier to hunt than others.
Centirskorch has coil to boost it's attack and defense, also accuracy so power whip won't miss as much. But what about sp.def? Just like volcarona not being capable of raising its defense while sweeping with quiver dance. Power gem and accelerock are the biggest nightmare of those mons
I actually quite like Salazzle. Sure it often can't take a hit, but it's speed and special attack stat definitely make up for it. Plus an extra poison stab dosen't hurt against Fairy types.
As much as I agree with Houndoom’s placement, I’m sad that he is even there. As one of my top 6 Pokémon I’m aware of it’s considerable shortcomings, but I love it all the same
I personally think that Torkoal is the most underrated Fire-Type. Torkoal is obviously slow because it’s a turtle, but it has killer defenses and good HP and Sp. Attack stats.
Most underrated Fire type is Moltres. No, it doesn't look like a rubber chicken on fire! At least it's not as fat as fan favorite Lugia, how that thing even flies?!
Two of some of my favorite fire type Pokemon are both Talonflame and Cinderace and they both didn't make it on the underrated list. I thought Talonflame was an underrated fire type in my opinion because of it's introduction in gen 6 and it's the first time that your first early bird pokemon would be a fire type instead of a normal type.
UMs sense of whats good and bad when it comes to the beloved speed is all over the place. one minute 45 speed is REALLY bad, another 20 speed is REALLY REALLY bad, and now apparently 80 speed is below average.
I think all your picks are underrated also Paldian Tauros FireBreed is the only Fire/Fighting type that isn’t a Starter and do either the most underrated Water or Grass.
Tbh Charizard is pretty under rated.People started hating Charizard for the sole reason that a lot of ppl liked it. Charizard is just so hated for being over rated that its now under rated.
Scovillain, Coalossal, Chandelure, Houndoom & Armarouge are good in my opinion. I can see why you say they're underrated, but I still think they're underrated. I can say Emboar is good admittedly, but I feel it's more overrated, than underrated.
@@toadsagejacob7896 ah yes rock and soil erosion but there is one problem though it takes years even decades for it to happen fire evaporating water is way faster than that and yet water still resist fire if so than water should be weak to fire so it doesn't make sense for rock and ground to be weak to water it should be the other way around because earth contains and absorbs water
Have you ever seen Flood cause by Heavy rain on hills that lacks Trees, big chunks of rocks and stone get pressed against it can collapse and fall down the hills ( There has been deaths cause by these irl at my place). And Rain is one of the main reason for Soil erosion (Water makes soil softer and easier to fall apart without any support to hold itself together). High Pressure water is very very strong, water moves in game isn't like oh i make you wet, it's a stream, waves and crashes ( they damage you by the sheer power )
@@enmumumo69 yes i'm well aware of that but guess what did you know air erodes rocks and soil faster than water because moving gas has a much higher speed and intensity than liquid it's a scientific fact so that also applies to Hurricanes, Typhoons and Tornado's since they are all forms of wind so you could argue that rock and ground types should be weak to flying types instead of water types so it's not logical to use natural disasters to compare elemental reactions because it's like comparing a M1 Flamethrower to a Squirt Gun
16:50 Shows off Mega Charizard Y instead of the actual pic for Mega Charizard X. While talking about how Fire & Dragon typing is unique.
Editor made a minor mistake with the file names sorry bout that
It’s all good. And no worries, we all make mistakes.
@@MysticUmbreonif Turtonator is the number 1 most underrated fire type Pokemon, does that mean that if you do a top 10 underrated normal type Pokemon, will Drampa be number 1?
I kinda want to see ice type next since we don’t have a lot good ice types sometimes
He actually did Underrated Ice a couple months back I think.
Another problem is that we don’t have that many Ice-types to begin with.
I remember watching you back in 2018/19 and I'm glad to see that you're uploading quality videos
I love how u described reshiram with the text of blue-eyes white dragon ❤
I’d really like to see flying types next
Great Video Mystic Umbreon!!
You should do Most underrated Normal types
Something so simple, so pure as a Normal type has the potential of being so powerful
Emboar is so underrated. I bloody love it. It can even learn scald.
It’s Black’s starter as well who is my favourite protagonist
@tdog I hope my boi gets trailblaze as well. They really should have kept scald. Competitive isn’t as fun anymore when most moves and availability of moves are gone😭 Flareon sits on a similar boat. It’s my favourite eeveelution but it gets shat on a lot
@tdog yeah, why they ruin competitive like that?
Couldn't be happier about the number one choice. I used turtonater on my ultra sun run and its easily the most underrated gen 7 mon in my eyes
16:53 as a Yugioh player, I appreciate the reading of Blue-Eyes White Dragon's flavour text when talking about Reshiram.
Chandelure is one of my fave Unova mons and I initially used Centiskorch on my first Sword playthrough but it wasn't great so I swapped it for Coalossal who did not disappoint
Ill be honest, i actually use Scovillain in doubles ranked. My buddy Wally the bandit used the rental on his channel
Scovillain is the fire/grass menace I've waited for since gen 5 (I started Mainline pokemon games in gen 4)
I like chandelure and armarouge too! I caught a shiny Chandelure in the max raids and armarouge was in my scarlet run and is great
That Unova track on #6 will forever put me in a good mood!
I love Cenriskorch and was so sad when it didn't come back. Love my armarogue too
As usual I would like to see the Bugs get the next opportunity. But normal, poison or ice would be good consolation prizes also 😁
Glad Scovillain is getting love. I make salsa as a hobby so when I played scarlet and violet it became my new all time favorite pokemon. Sneasel has been my favorite since I was a kid.
I only wish flareon could be on the list which I always pitied it because I like it but it’s got no good physical moves that don’t do recoil
Anyone else got no audio?
Edit: on mobile, closed then reopened the vid and it's fine now.... Seems yt screwed up.
I think Pyroar is really underrated having used one on a recent playthrough of Violet.
I agree, I used him in my first playthrough in Violet.
@@nigelbrigden4364 I used a female Pyroar but yeah.
I’m actually surprised regular Ninetales isn’t on here it’s not as popular as Arcanine but it has pretty good stats and a great move pool
Thought it was used as Sun summoner in Generation 5.
If you're in the same gen as Arcanine and Charizard of course you're gonna be overshadowed, but I think Ninetales is still a pretty popular mon, to the point it got an Alolan form but Arcanine didn't
@@Muiuiiu Arcanine did get a hisui form
Ninetales will always be my fav fire Pokemon

0:16 - 0:17 that’s interesting
Chandelure, Infernape, and Blacephalon are the 3 Pokémon that come to my mind personally when I think of fire types 🔥
Scovillain is def one of my top 5 favourite Pokémon
Brilliant list as always!
But also really want to commend your ability to go back and highlight mistakes you may have made. Really great quality.
I've made a bit sometimes I'm just tired and the tiniest of things get past me lol.
Just started the vid, but Centiskorch needs to be on this list.
Edit: Big win
16:51 “Only sharing it with Mega Charizard X”
*Proceeds to show Mega Charizard Y*
Can you make a video on the ultimate team of shiny in hgss/sgss ranking the top visually and based on still being a good team. Maybe with like a visual theme.
Bonus point for teams that are easier to hunt than others.
Scovillan is hurt because it looks like a 2nd stage of a 3 stage Evo. It disappointed me so much when I figured out it didn't evolve again.
I used Hondour and Houndoom in Jotho. Since i didn't choose Cyndaquil i used Houndoom in the late game to compensate.
Chandelure vs Cerulegde ( just imagine the battle in your head as if you were watching the anime)
Centirskorch has coil to boost it's attack and defense, also accuracy so power whip won't miss as much.
But what about sp.def?
Just like volcarona not being capable of raising its defense while sweeping with quiver dance.
Power gem and accelerock are the biggest nightmare of those mons
I always loved Armarouge more than Ceruledge
Same
Same it my new favorite Pokémon sorry sandslash
Same. I just prefer the yellow/red color scheme for Armarouge
Na
I agree
Can you do grass type next?
I actually quite like Salazzle. Sure it often can't take a hit, but it's speed and special attack stat definitely make up for it. Plus an extra poison stab dosen't hurt against Fairy types.
Also being capable of poisoning steel types it's an advantage
Water types
To this day i wonder why houndoom never got intimidate. Considering both the fact most dog type mons get it and houndoom's dex entrys, its a mystery
Macargo is one of my Top 10 pokemon
Fire used to be my favorite typing, but not anymore. I still like it, but I don't love it.
what about delphox? definitely underrated
As much as I agree with Houndoom’s placement, I’m sad that he is even there. As one of my top 6 Pokémon I’m aware of it’s considerable shortcomings, but I love it all the same
You also didn’t mention that heatmore has one of the most under appreciated shinies in the whole game.
Bug type next!!!!!!! ❤
I personally think that Torkoal is the most underrated Fire-Type. Torkoal is obviously slow because it’s a turtle, but it has killer defenses and good HP and Sp. Attack stats.

Used psychic to fly?
I love Armarouge more than Ceruledge and I feel like an outlier
Houndoom is also one of my favorites
What about delphox? Such a good Pokémon that gets no love despite having one of the best shinies
I've been saying for a long time that emboar is a good pokemon. He just suffers from being another fire fighting. He has a super wide move pool
I cought the BEWD reference with Reshiram 😅
*caught.

I think all your picks are underrated also Paldian Tauros FireBreed is the only Fire/Fighting type that isn’t a Starter and do either the most underrated Water or Grass.

why are rock and ground types weak to water that doesn't make any sense in fact water types should be weak to rock and ground
Running water erodes ground and rock.

Why show a picture of Mega Charizard Y when talking about Mega Charizard X?
That mega charzard you showed was megaY, not megaX.
Ah yes,the green grass type scovillan as the thumbnail Pokémon for most underrated fire types just what I’d expect
Scovillian is so over rated when it was released
