It was so much fun to go through their whole Discog. Turn Loose the Swans is easily one of my favorite Doom Metal albums of all time, it’s a genuine masterpiece to me
You scope the new one yet man?
@@forgemastermetal actually listening to it just now on Spotify. Really good album
Agree, absolute masterpiece. It's their only album that is flawless from beginning to end.
34.788% is weirdly perfect and easy B+ for me. The Whore, the Cook and the Mother is one of my all time favorites tracks of MDB.
Are you into more alternative music? Why is it so stand out for you?
@@forgemastermetal not really. Turn Loose the Swans and Songs of Darkness Words of Light are my favorite. But this 34.788% - it was so inovative at the time. It was great effort to provide a different approch so that the metal scene does not get too boring .
p.s. and I find Mortal Binding as maybe the most boring MDB album after Evinta of course. At least after 2 spins.
The whore the cook and the mother is a staple my dying bride song the best of that album
@@forgemastermetal on some point MDB is it a mix a influences with "alternative" stuff as Swans or Dead Can Dance being crucial part of it :)
The Barghest O Whitby is also one of their best albums of all! Often forgotten about!
Hey guys, thanks for the tier list - it turned out really well. BUT! I'll challenge everybody on the positioning of 34.788%... Complete. Yes, it's very experimental and somewhat incomplete but I look at it as an early post metal record (refer to the opening 12-minute track). That's just it - long, atmospheric, experimental wall of sound done by the band from which you wouldn't expect it. So in my book it merits at least B-tier.
I have no other comments besides this one. Keep up the good work. Cheers 🤘
I respect it, not for me tho!
Always liked 34 alot! After that one the went on autopilot
Yes. the percent album does kick ass for what it is 🤘
yeah, it's a fantastic album with a single weak spot (Heroin Chic). "The Whore" is one of their best tracks, IMO.
I love 34.788%
Songs of Darkness, Words of Light is my very favorite MDB album. My wife and I danced to 'My Wine in Silence' at our reception. Absolutely classic. And I love Line of Deathless Kings. I've never understood why people didn't like it. Amazing.
My favorite is still Angel and the Dark River. It was so important in my formative years. I even painted my room in my parent’s house in the shade of white from the cover
Wow! That’s dedication. I remember constantly spinning that album in my high school art class. Good times. I was a brooding dork. 😂
@@forgemastermetal In music class in high school, we each had to present a piece of music and talk about genre and themes. I went with Cry of Mankind. I was obsessed over that album 😃
One of the best doom bands ever. My top 3:
1: The Dreadful Hours
2: The Angel and The Dark River
3: The Ghost of Orion
Can’t wait to jam the new record
It’s up! And it’s great!
The Dreadful Hours in B tier might be the craziest ranking I can imagine! In my top 3 metal albums ever. Every second of that record is perfect.
Still love seeing this band get a ranking list though, and agreed that Deathless Kings is S tier!
Yussssss deathless kings love 🖤
Yeah there's no way Dreadful Hours deserves anything lower than S tier
Angel and the dark river too!
One of my favourite bands of all time.
Top 3:
1) Like Gods of The Sun
2) Turn Loose the Swans
3) The Dreadful Hours
4) The Light at the End of the World /
5) Angel and the Dark River
Awesome!!
agreed on "like gods".. absolutely love it...although on my first listen I was dissapointed....but grew to adore it
The band was huge when I was in high-school in the late 90s. Good times.
For me personally, "Dreadful Hours" is the album that has everything.
I feel in love with these guys in the early 2000s when I first discovered Turn Loose the Swans
I remember getting into them in 1999. I was in high school. I first got Angel and the Dark River which they didn't use their classic logo so i didn't know if they were metal or not. I just liked the song titles so i checked them out and found the band very unique. Light at the End of the World was new and its been one of my favorites for years. Edenbeast one of my favorite songs. The Dreadful Hours is my favorite album.
Great video, gained a new subscriber! I have to confess that I really really like 34,788%, it came out at a perfect time for me since I was also branching out from extreme metal in my listening habits at that time. Still spin it every now and then, so A-tier for me alongside Light. My S-tier would probably include Turn Loose the Swans and The Dreadful Hours.
I love this band and I'm lucky enough to know a couple of them. Having grown up in rural Yorkshire myself there's something about their sound that just encapsulates those surroundings, especially in the colder months and that has always had a strong connection with me.
That’s awesome, are they as dramatic in real life? From our last conversation with Aaron, he was delightfully creative, humble, and positive
I've only met Aaron once and he was really nice. I know Dan, their drummer rather well and many members of A Forest of Stars who I know have worked with them before. They're all really chill, lovely people. Always nice when bands you grew up loving end up being awesome people too.
Love to hear that!
Shame Aaron and Andy don't get on.
Never been a fan of My Dying Bride, but after hearing the Forgemasters insights on their discography I will be checking out some of their albums. Great video as always, I really enjoy these tier ranking videos. Thanks 🤘
Nice! Let us know your S tier after
Sounds like their older stuff may be more doomy and death metal . I tried listening to their newest one and most of the vocals on that one did not please my ears
This is my favorite video so far! Thank you. I love this band so much. And I agree with you it's incredible that they're still going this strong. An inspirational band and one that I am constantly trying to turn more and more people on to as where I am from at least they are staggeringly overlooked. But I will not allow that to remain the case, as every person I have introduced them to has loved them. God I love your channel thank you🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
1) Turn Loose the Swans
2) Angel and the Dark River
3) Songs Of Darkness...Words Of Light
4) Like Gods of the Sun
5) A Map of All Our Failures
6) A Mortal Binding
7) The Dreadful Hours
8) For Lies I Sire
9) Feel the Misery
10) Ghost Of Orion
11) 34.7888% Complete
12) A Line Of Deathless Kings
13) Light At the End of the World
14) As the Flower Withers
Not a bad record in the bunch and even the EPs have been stellar. Evinta is masterful, too.
I always loved MDB at their most Deathly. The Dreadful Hours is my favourite, and im pleasantly surprised that the new one has a more Death metal approach on a few of the tracks, which is most welcome imo.
The new one has been growing on me a lot
Aaah, one of my top bands of all time. Don't think they've ever released any albums that weren't at least "solid" with a few genuine masterpieces thrown in there. The word that always comes to mind is "grandeur," nobody else captures that windswept, desolate, doomed romance vibe that My Dying Bride do. Like some opulent castle fallen into ruin.
Totally agree.
Like Gods of the Sun will always be my favourite MDB album, I've got a load of awesome memories around it. I saw them at Bloodstock Indoor 2006 in the UK, and one of my friends and I chased Aaron around for a selfie for an hour. That friend has since passed and MDB will always remind me of him.
So sorry for your loss. I’m glad you have that memory of him. 🖤
Being a longtime fan of MDB, Turn Loose the Swans is easily my favorite. I also enjoy their first album, which has more of a death feel, as I was getting into the style around that time. When their sophomore album came out, I was totally hooked. I remember having it on repeat along with Anathema's Serenades while playing Eye of the Beholder on the C64, and I still get flashbacks when I put that album on.
That’s one of my favorite things about this bands catalogue is the nostalgia. It takes me back man.
I think you guys nailed it. One of my all time favorite bands, the consistency they exude never makes me question whether im going to skip an album i know that im most likely going to enjoy it. And to only have a couple of missteps in their 30-year career is amazing.
It’s so wild to me how big this band got with such a niche sound, gothic doom is not a big genre so much anymore
Love this band to death. Some of my absolute favorites come from them. I'd rank their albums like this:
S: The Angel and the Dark River (an all-time favorite), A Map of All Our Failures, Songs of Darkness Words of Light
A: Turn Loose The Swans, The Dreadful Hours, A Line of Deathless Kings
B: A Mortal Binding, Feel The Misery, Light at the End of the World, For Lies I Sire, As The Flower Withers
C: Like Gods of the Sun, The Ghost of Orion, 34.788% Complete
D: Evinta
Feel like there's a couple other notable releases that could be acknowledged like Trinity (B) or Barghest O'Whitby (A), but keeping it to albums is hard enough as it is, though if we're counting Evinta...
That's a good tier list, thank you. I agree with The Apocalyptist being potentially their best song, I mean it's up there for me with Turn Loose the Swans, She is the Dark, and A Cruel Taste of Winter.
Nothing but love for MDB, such a strong record in a mortal binding, really enjoyed this one guys.
Could you get to Novembers Doom at some point? 🙏
We will!
Def one of the most consistently weepy creative Death Doom bands. A personal fave. Enjoy how they always have class and musicality. “Extreme” music without embarrassment. I’d put Like Gods and Dreadful in A tier. Otherwise mostly agree with y’all. Music for us Old School METAL fans who still enjoy the Album Experience and owning physical media. If I ever get to Old Blighty, a live MDB show would be the major draw.
Great video Forgemasters! Here's my list. It was very hard to rank some of these, they are so close, separated by a thread. I would slot Trinity somewhere around 4 or 5 - I know it's not an actual album, but the colleciton of songs is so incredible!
1) Turn Loose the Swans
2) The Dreadful Hours
3) Angel and the Dark River
4) A Line Of Deathless Kings
5) Feel the Misery
6) As the Flower Withers
7) Like Gods of the Sun
8) Songs Of Darkness...Words Of Light
9) A Map of All Our Failures
10) For Lies I Sire
11) Light At the End of the World
12) A Mortal Binding
13) 34.7888% Complete
14) Ghost Of Orion
As always, thanks for sharing the knowledge and tunes! I need to check out the Deathless Kings album.
It's there best work depending on what version of mdb you like it's my personal favourite start too finish 10/10
Never understood why so many dislike The Ghost Of Orion. It's just as beautiful as you can get with metal. I think they're currently on a great run of albums
The light at the end of the world is my favorite My dying bride album. It's so varied and intense. The contrasting atmospheres and the transitions are what make it stand out from the rest of the albums for me. Almost all of the albums are top notch though. Regarding their newest album: I really like the nostalgia from the Dark river and Turn loose the swans era which the new album evokes.
Although "only" an EP, Symphonaire Infernus et Spera Empyrium (1992) is easily my all time favourite, closely followed by A Thrash of Naked Limbs (1993). The way the main riff sets in after the lengthy harpsichord intro sends shivers down my spine to this day.
"The destroying genius of idols will shroud the world with utter lies..."
Agree
I love playing their entire discography in my car, i do that at least three-four times a year. 15 albums played randomly, one after another. My favorite band ever. A mortal binding is a killer as well.
There first three for me. I also like the trinity compilation.
A fair summation but Evinta has its place. When I want to play MDB at work you can put that one on. Its also great background music. It reminds me of the stale metal-with-orchestra fad but done in a much more interesting way. 34.788%'s bookend tracks are awesome and 2 of my faves.
One of my all time favorite bands. In my opinion, very consistent discography (it does have a few misses, though). If I was limited to two S tiers, they'd be Turn Loose the Swans and The Dreadful Hours, but honestly, I feel like Ghost of Orion is also an S tier album, because I remember really liking Feel the Misery only for Ghost of Orion to come along and feel like a step up from that. I'm not as big on the new album, but I've only listened to it once, so maybe it will grow on me. Personally, I'm worried about the band splitting up based on their recent social media posts.😢
I pretty much have your A and B tier swapped! Mad respect for putting ALODK in S tier though, I spent a hell of a lot of time with that record!
your B is actually my S! and vice versa hehe
add to that The Ghost Of Orion switching places with The Light and you pretty much get my ranking
Sick!! Thanks for sharing.
"Like Gods of The Sun" is without doubt my favourite album by MDB. "A Kiss To Remember" and "For You" were the first songs I've heard by them almost 10 years ago. And they are still my favourites.
Really enjoyed this video, i just got into these guys pretty recently, killer discography overall.

I am smiling ear to ear listening to you guys talk about The Ghost of Orion. So affecting. To be honest, I was late to this band but "Your Broken Shore" just completely gutted me. Going through their back catalog has been such a treat, but I always return to Orion. The guitar tone is perfect. So sad, so beautiful, so perfect.
It’s gorgeous. Did you spin the new one yet?
@@forgemastermetal Not yet, was holding off until I swing by the record store to see if they have the vinyl. But I'll probably cave and throw it on.
That song is one of their best.
Hello! My favorite album by MDB is Songs of Darkness words of light. Anď Dreadfull Hours. Cheers!
Awesome choice!!
Thanks for schooling me in a band I missed out on. I love the gothic doom sound, there just doesnt seem to be much of it.
It peaked big time in the 90s / early 2000s. There’s quite a bit from that time period.
Turn Loose the Swans of course is untouchable in thier discography but man A Mortal Binding blew me the fuck away. How many metal bands in general letalone Doom/Death metal bands deliver something like that this late in thier career? Not many imho. This is definitely 2nd for me and i love all MDB material.
Great album!!
Turn loose the swans
The angel and the dark river
Like gods of the sun
Songs of darkness
Feel the misery
Tough one, all their albums are great.
Edit: After watching your video, i know it is personal opinions BUT The Angel and the Dark River, The Light at the End of the World, The Dreadful Hours and Songs of Darkness, Words of Light should all be S tier. Back to back along with Turn Loose the Swans are masterpieces.
Thanks for your comment! We always try to limit our S-tier to one pick each. It's been super hard, especially for bands we love like MDB.
Great list guys. Love the content.
Glad you enjoyed it bud!
Turn loose is my favorite BUT.... I love every album they're putting out
Yeeepppp
The new album is awesome just listened to it and I loved it
What’s your favorite tune?
@forgemastermetal it's really hard to pick one but I think the 2nd of three bells is my favourite Aaron's singing on that song is magical
I actually love 34% and judging from the comments seems I’m not alone. I wish they would take big risks like that again one day…the Barghest O’Whitby is also one of their best even if it’s not a full album! The EP format suits them well! Great list, mine would be:
S - The Angel and the Dark River, Turn Loose the Swans, 34.788% Complete
A - A Map of All Our Failures, A Line of Deathless Kings, Like Gods of the Sun
B - For Lies I Sire, Songs of Darkness Words of Light, the Ghost of Orion
C - Feel The Misery, the Dreadful Hours, As the Flower Withers
D - Evinta, the Light at the End of the World
I don't really listen to doom metal anymore, but when I did, My Dying Bride were my favorite. The first album I ever heard from them was The Angel and the Dark River and it blew me away. As a former metal vocalist myself, I always really respected Aaron. I learned to growl by listening to him. He has always evolved and progressed. He's learned to sing clean a lot better over the years and he has so many voices at this point. I love all their old records. I'm in the camp who loves the light at the end of the world. I hated 34.788% complete when it came out, but i grew to like most of it. Heroin Chic is terrible though. I loved Evinta. I thought a line of deathless kings was boring. Feel the misery was great. I have not heard the last 2 albums. I was in this band in grad school where we did a bunch of metal covers on the campus of the university of Miami. I was on vocals. We did Remember tomorrow by iron maiden, the bass player did anesthesia (pulling teeth) by Metallica. We did to bid you farewell by Opeth, Lethe by dark tranquility, and the tittle track on turn loose the swans. Good times.
Sounds like quite the cover set! Awesome to hear MDB was such an influence on you. Cheers bud.
How would you rate 'The Barghest o'Whitby' EP? I think it's one of their darkest and heaviest songs.
I'm ok with you but I will put "The Angel And The Dark River" higher because of the song "A Sea To Suffer In" which is one of the best song they made with "Death Triumphant" from "For Lies I Sire..." (I want this one for my funeral) ! The last one is awesome for me especially the song "A Starving Heart"... I Love this band since the beginning... And Cannibal Corpse too !!!!! Hi from France !🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
And I think the song "l'amour détruit" from "A line of Deathless Kings "is the best of the best : Don't forget I'm French !😄😄🤘🤘
Oui!!!
Swans, for sure.
I'm starting to wonder why we didn't rank it higher haha. - Ben Fo

Doesn't get any better than MDB. Maybe Swallow the Sun and Katatonia. Turn Loose the Swans and Dreadful Hours 1and 2 for me. 34.788% is underrated as The Whore, the Cook and the Mother is one of the most adventurous doom songs I've ever heard and I love the psychedelic interlude so I guess that prolly makes me a Radiohead/Porcupine Tree nerd geek freak. They have no weak albums so it is very hard to rank them, but fun to try. I almost never listen to A Map of all Our Failures but why, for example? Terrific.
Also love Draconian and Paradise Lost.
There’s so many great gothic doom bands, it’s a shame the genre isn’t really around anymore. We’re working on a video on the topic.
@@forgemastermetal For sure. I almost said Draconian, but maybe they are tier A 2 for me. It just depends on the timing and mood for what hits you at the moment! Theatre of Tragedy I think were revolutionaries also.
Never heard the band till now tbh..Will check them out tho..can you do a list on funeral please..love that band so so much
You can’t go wrong with the S and A tier albums. Funeral is a GREAT band. I’m not sure we’d do a discography ranking but maybe a list that the band belongs on.
@forgemastermetal well putting then on a list is awesome...from these wounds is my fav album. Keep up the awesome work guys...love ur channel
I would not have watched this if I did not listen to A Mortal Binding recently because to each their own with what they like or do not like. Anyway, since that 1st MDB EP I have been a fan. Good new album!
Fave tie between The Dreadful Hours and A Line Of Deathless Kings
Nice! It's a great outing from these legends.
Damn, got a lot of My Dying Bride to listen too. That time period between Like Gods of the Son/The Dreadful Hours and Feel the Misery I’ve just ignored entirely for some reason
My favorite is Like Gods of the Sun though, got me into them
That period you missed is a great era
My favourite album is songs of darkness
Fave song overall is she is the dark
One of my most favorite bands of all time, thank u for this🤍🖤🤍
Which album is your favorite??
They were my favourite band before I discovered Opeth. Funnily enough I was listening to My Dying Bride for the first time in ages the other day. Totally forgot just how much I love them.
What album did you spin on your revisit?
@@forgemastermetal I just went on Spotify and listened to my favourite songs. I did listen to Trinity in it's entirety though. It was the first album I ever bought by them. Surprised you didn't cover it. I know it's a compilation of three EPs, but I feel it does work as an album in it's own right.
I love the new My Dying Bride album. It's so much better than their previous album and feels like a continuation of Feel the Misery which is my second favorite album of theirs. Here would be my ranking of their albums:
S - Turn Loose the Swans, Songs of Darkness Words of Light, Feel the Misery, A Mortal Binding
A - The Angel and the Dark River, Like Gods for the Sun, A Line of Deathless Kings, For Lies I Sire
B - As the Flower Withers, The Light at the End of the World, The Dreadful Hours, A Map of All Our Failures
C - 34.788%...Complete
D - Evinta, The Ghost of Orion
Ghost of Orion in D? How come?
@@forgemastermetalI found it underwhelming and forgettable. Especially after such a great album like Feel the Misery. I do feel like their new one is a step in the right direction.
@@mindful2864 For me Ghost of Orion has an AWESOME first 3 tracks then FALLS OFF A CLIFF.
@@RWalters81 I completely agree with this.
Interesting takes, Forgemates! Thanks for sharing.
These ranks are so wildly different from mine so this is very interesting. I always thought Line of Deathless Kings was like the shitty B Grade versions of the all clean vocal superior albums like Angel and the Dark River and Like Gods the Sun which I would have WAY higher than you. The three album golden run of Turn Loose / Angel / Like Gods is the peak era IMO.
My Ranks (excluding new one)
1 Turn Loose the Swans
2 The Angel and the Dark River
3 Like Gods the Sun
4 The Dreadful Hours
5 Feel the Misery (late period gem)
6 Songs of Darkness Words of Light
7 The Light At The End of the World
8 The Ghost of Orion
9 A Map of All Our Failures
10 A Line of Deathless Kings (I am going to listen to this again soon as the only cut I come back to on this is Thy Raven Wings)
11 As the Flower Withers
12 For Lies I Sire (I thought they were toast after this came out)
13 34.788% Complete
Great Video though.
Thanks man! Your ranking is rad, love that TLTS is #1. You spin the new one yet?
@@forgemastermetal I’m also a giant High On Fire guy so…. I’ll get to it soon.
People bashes Evinta but it's so dark and gloomy, it quite fits MDB proposal.
It’s definitely cool as its own thing
I'm probably in the minority, but I actually enjoy 34.788% Complete. Not my favorite by any stretch, but I enjoy it for what it is. I do see why it's not well liked though.
Been a fan ever since buying as the flower withers on tape in 1992...the dreadful hours ..songs of light and line if deathless kings are still my favourite 3 albums..the new one is ok but i only really like two songs the rest kinda boring for me..overall better than orion
Yesss, love for deathless kings 🖤
@@forgemastermetal pretty much agreed with your reviews glad you put line of deathless king's up there it's probably my favourite not a bad song guitars sound killer ..people sleep on it but it's awesome
The Angel and The Dark River is their best album
I think The Barghest o' Whitby is the real return to form after Evinta. And Songs of Darkness is S for me.
Absolutely killer ep
you guys are great
One of my favorite bands but I have to be in the mood for it, it's not a band you listen to when it's all sunshine and happiness...
Love their earlier more Death metal sounding stuff (especially the Trinity-EP), both Turn Loose... and Angel are top tier IMO. I actually like something about each album (except 34,788% 😉) but from A Line Of Deathless Kings until A Map..., I don't tend to revisit those albums. They're not bad but not that memorable I guess?
Their latest 2 were very impressive, altough Ghost wasn't that memorable again IMO. Listening to A Mortal Binding now and it sounds really really good so far, way more agressive sounding then I thought 🤘
Worth mentioning as well, some of their EP's have their greatest songs. Barghest O'Whitby and Symphonaire... for example are absolute god tier IMO
That’s a great point about their EPs, totally didn’t even think about that. You’re absolutely right.
Ghost of Orion and A Mortal Binding fall well below The Dreadful Hours and The Angel for me. I wish I liked them better, I want to love the newer albums, but they are amongst their weakest LP’s. It’s not necessarily a problem that the albums are so predictable, I just don’t feel much emotion. It’s like I’ve heard these riffs before, but done much better on prior albums. I can’t think of a single song on the two most recent LP’s that is better than the best from Dreadful/Angel: Dreadful Hours, Raven and the Rose, My Hope the Destroyer, Cry of Mankind, From Darkest Skies, Black Voyage, etc. And I guess that fuels my disappointment, the lack of songs that reach the brilliant emotional heights of their best work. I would probably put Turn Loose alone at the top, and Angel, Dreadful, Kings and Misery in the A tier.
Fair assessment, but I think Your Broken Shore and The Apocalyptist all belong among their best songs IMO
@@forgemastermetal Those 2 songs in particular are excellent, totally agree with you there. But I feel like their best LP’s had 3-4 excellent songs, whereas the new ones have 1-2. I don’t think any of their albums are bad, but some feel far less inspired to me. I miss the death metal influence in the guitar riffs, Andrew has completely abandoned that as well.
Due to life events, I couldn't listen to their entire discography again before hearing this new album, but after my 33 listens (it's obviously my favorite band), my personal tier list is still a work in progress, and honestly, I disagree with many things. Like their first album being in C when, for me, it's a 9, alongside "Feel the Misery" or "The Ghost of Orion" or "A Map of All Our Failures." Or that "A Line of Deathless Kings" is ranked as their worst album, even below "Turn Loose the Swans," which, for me, is their most meh album, even above "34.788%...Complete," which I like more. We agree on "Turn Loose the Swans," "Feel the Misery," and "A Map of All Our Failures," among other coincidences, but anyway, I liked the video.
That’s cool man, like most bands with extensive discographies like this one, everyone’s got their favorites.
@@forgemastermetal Yes, the good thing is that many of us agree on "Turn Loose the Swans," "Feel the Misery," and "A Map of All Our Failures" being the crown jewels of My Dying Bride (adding this new album for me). My favorite song from the new album is the first one, "Her Dominion," closely followed by "The Apocalyptist," the gems of the album.
The Ghost of Orion is the zenith of the band for me.
Great album!
Turn Loose The Swans forever.
Hell yeah
Line of deathless kings has 1 good song, and many good pieces, but band was broken and just reforming, so lots of great tit-bits without outstanding songs. For Lies I Sire is same but worse, there are no memorable songs. Evinta is just bad meds trip that was used to sell band name between albums for very expensive and actually great package - I have that limited edition, it is nice to watch and browse, but isn't really listenable. I was hoping it would be something like Elend, but it's actually just 3 CDs filled with "something" covering track space. Map of all our failures is a comeback album, certainly not an "A", a rehearsal for next ones. Mortal binding, I would give it a straight "A", a true comeback. For rest I agree completely, with Turn Loose The Swans being S++, and Angel ant the Dark River could have been an A.
As the flowers withers - C? What the...
What the HUH!?
In your place i'd dump Evinta and rate Trinity as an album by its own right.
The Cry of Mankind the best MDB song
Two underrated records that belong: SERMON- Of Golden Verse & ANGELWITCH- Frontal Assault. Doom on...
DOOL-The Shape of Fluidity
VISION BLEEK- Weird Tales. BAUHAUS vibes...
DIONYSIAQUE-Diogonos is the COFFIN STORM/ SPINAL TAP/B.O.C. contemporary version of this sound that's funny. Cuz laughing is theraputic. Doom on...
& for the gatekeepers, TURING MACHINE-Zwei, SECRET MACHINES-Now Here Is Nowhere. Bring it, kids
New DVNE is cool. Could be WAY heavier, though.
As the flower withers tier c? What a joke
Get mad
Turn Loose the Swans was their most influential, I loved it when it came out, but I don't revisit it nearly as much as, for instance, The Light at the End of the World, which I probably put top 3. The Dreadful Hours #1. I never picked up the 2015 album, which I see many really like, so I'll go give that a list. Almost like I get two new MDB albums on the same day! :D
That’s awesome man!
I'm the weirdo that reaches for 34.788% Complete from time to time! Having said that, Heroin Chic is hands down the worst track of their career. Na na na na na na na
Yeaaaaa it totally is lol
I hate to say it, but you heard it here first: Turn Loose The Swans is one of the most overrated albums in all of metal. MDB has at at least 2 albums better
Plenty of people say this bud lol
The last two albums are boring and uninspiring
Cool contribution
