We started our trip in the Keihanshin region, which is Japan's second largest metropolitan area after Tokyo, made up of the cities Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, and other smaller ones. After eight days around this region, we hopped on the Shinkansen bullet train twice, first to Hiroshima and then to Fukuoka. From there, we took a boat to Busan, South Korea (we were SO excited about this ferry ride between Japan and Korea!) before catching a train to Seoul and flying home from there!
Thank you for watching!🙏😍

As always guys, THANK YOU and see you around the world🌍❤
Thx guys. I've been thinking about simplifying with a Chromebook. Acer seems like the way to go! Wonder if we could get any of that Japanese cheesecake to go with it😅
As someone who has lived in Japan for 6 years, I still get excited about all these same thing you both do.
Yes, you have to try it, bro, the highest fastest train in Southeast Asia... the speed is 350 K kilometers, the newest fast train in Southeast Asia, the first in Indonesia, Jakarta - Bandung, lots of tourist attractions in the city of Bandung which is beautiful and comfortable and cool and cool and beautiful....

I cant wait my own experience to ride the shinkansen. Nice video, Oskar and Dan!

So glad to see you can eat plant-based there with relative ease!
Really enjoyed this!
Love living these amazing adventures vicariously. Can’t wait to get there. Would be incredible to be there while you’re there!!
I just came back from Japan last week and I need to go back again
Sending love from Indonesia. You guys are so cute!
Thank you very much for visiting Japan and all those great vlogs! You guys make such amazing ones. I like the way you edit them and how informative they are.
Btw in case you don’t know, you seem to be having a hard time finding vegan restaurants in Japan but in fact we do have quite a lot of traditional dishes made from just vegetables. They are more like homemade dishes we eat everyday than fancy foods from restaurants, that’s why it’s hard to find them especially if you are a tourist who can’t speak Japanese. Next time you come, try search for a restaurant with the keywords like "おばんざい(Obanzai)" or "精進料理 (Shojin Ryori)" for example.
I’m sorry Japan is so outdated when it comes to vegan foods, but since Japanese food culture is so unique as well and it tells you a lot about local life, I really want people like you to try real Japanese foods too! Hope to see you enjoy our food culture as well and tell the other vegan tourists how to find authentic Japanese foods made from vegetables through your wonderful channel!
AHH, guys, really loving the Japan Series! ❤️✈️🤩

The Nozomi of JR Central is not the fastest bullet train as its top speed is 300kph, the 2 fastest bullet trains in service are the Green Hayabusa and the Red Komachi of JR East/JR Hokkaido that go from Tokyo to Aomori/ Hakodate and Akita respectively, their top speed is 320kph.
I was going to say the same thing.
The Nozomi and operate JR Central and West. Osaka to Hakata area operate JR West. include hiroshima. JR West operated area Max speed 300 km. but JR Central area has many curves. so Max speed 285 km.
Doesn't this section only reach a top speed of 285 kph (177 mph)?

"Worst case we'll just eat it all." Best reply ever! Especially in Japan where you can just go into the convenience store (Lawsons in our case) and choose anything to eat and it's so fresh and delicious. That's what a friend and I did several years ago and the the experience has never been duplicated in any other country. Okay, now I need to make a plan to visit again soon.
Awesome job guys I hope you enjoy japan
I took one a few years ago. Fast!
the train running from tokyo to aomori is faster in speed, you may try it if have chance :)
Thank you so much for sharing.
Japan has the healthy foods
The "let me do it for you" train 🤣🤣🤣
It's giving that though😂
You've really fine tuned your editing lately ❤ Absolutely beautiful cinematography and storytelling
Thank you for your delightful video
Thank you so much!
広島に来てくれてありがとう!
Hey Boys,as always your video is bright part of the day. Am fascinated by the whole train experience anywhere, but,Japan is top of my Bucket list.I spend a couple of hours every week facetiming a friend there,so feel like I have weird over his shoulder sort of view of the country, yours is so much better, kudos to your production values, which just get better and better.
Very best wishes ,as ever to you both❤️💯💥👊👏👏👏💙💙👌💯👋⭐️'s💯✌️
Can't go wrong with a train video! Looking forward to seeing the next video :-)
It's often misunderstood, but a very small thing, but the highest speed Shinkansen is not Sanyo Shinkansen (300kph) but Tohoku Shinkansen (320kph).
Even the German ICE travels at 320 km/h between Strassbourg and Paris.😂😂😂😂😂
@@christianbayerstein5243 Until it breaks down and gets delayed by 4 hours.
@@altavelmcnamara No need to exaggerate, breakdowns are not all that common. But delays on Deutsche Bahn territory are indeed a common occurrence and a problem that they need to address. And to anticipate your cultural chauvinism, yes, trains get delayed in Japan all the time. They have a better on-time record than DB, but not than other EU HSR carriers.
Loved your lightweight sustainable laptop. When plastic was invented, people thought it was wonderful, but now....Dan, you are right about queues. Knowing the wait time is key.
upright vertical seats like that should be a crime!
Ty for coming to Horie park!Im near there and please come back!!😊
This is wonderful. One of my dream destinations 😊😊
I could NEVER wait for 4 hours for food. I want to support small businesses like that but there's got to be a time to make some changes for efficiency, I think. I'm glad the food was super yummy, though! The train looks cool and thanks for the tip on booking seats with larger bags! I wouldn't have thought of that but I guess that makes some sense? Can't wait for the next vlog! Travel safe, friends!
Totally fair🤣
If you don't want to wait, just go someplace else. People line up cause they want to.
WOW your vides are so cool! Very professional/artistic. DO NOT rock climb the building. That train is FAAAAST. The food looks GREAT but you do too much waiting !!!! Next: Hiroshima-HEAVY (P.S. I love the white meat too)
Hi Dan and Oskar
I thoroughly enjoyed this vlog. It's great that you are able you're able to find so many venues for vegetarian foods. This is sizing up to be a very interesting trip. I'm looking forward to the forthcoming vlogs,
I arrive this Thursday and I head off to Hiroshima on Saturday, then Kyoto, Nara then Osaka so I am taking bullet train from Osaka back to Tokyo
2:58 This building is a “pachinko parlor”, and when it first opened, there was a freefall attraction on this rail.
新幹線が世界一速いかはあまり重要ではありません。重要なのは新幹線が世界一安全な乗り物だと言うことです😊
日本を紹介してくれてありがとうございます。新幹線に私も乗りたいです。
Great content as always. By the way, the second largest city in Japan is Yokohama, not Osaka 🙂
それは人口だけで都市的には大阪が2位です。
True, you're right🙏 Next outside the Tokyo metro area then😌
I would like to take the Shinkansen N700S series. It is newest one and more comfortable than N700A.
N700S has the outlet on every seat and more better suspensions!
thx for share nice video!
did you enjoy "Kaiseki meals"?It's traditional Japanese vegetarian dishes:)
Hello looks is fun. I meat a men back in Chicago he took it w his son. He said it was so fun and fast.
what place did you get the custard filled pastries from when you were in the train station?
Is it possible to book table online for okonomiyaki ??
Hi.. I was wondering how long it took from Oska to Hiroshima?
1h 26mins 😁
Be aware your N700S train gets treated as a commuter train between Kyoto and Kobe via Osaka station. Oddly modified to fit European Loading gauge SJ can run them from Gothenburg/Stockholm for Copenhagen Kastrup must be equipped for 15kv 16 2/3hz Norway Sweden 25kv 50hz Denmark 15kv 16.7hz PZB LZB Deutsche Bahn & Österreicher Bundesbahn
Yokohama is Japan’s second largest city.
how long is the ride from osaka to hiroshima?
It's about four hours!
Tohoku Shinkansen going north from Tokyo is faster fyi
I don't think the description is right? Isn't the fastest in east Japan to Tohoku?
why are some faces blurred out and not others?
also I was in Osaka and Kyoto this summer, and I swear I saw lots of people from Scandinavia
How many hours from osaka to hiroshima?thank you😊
Less than 90 minutes!
I thought you only had two minutes but you each gave a speech before getting on?
Oscar How many years have you been a vegan and as a vegan what supplements do you take and how often?
We've both been vegan for six years! We take B12, Omega 3, and sometimes vitamin D if we're not in a sunny climate!
You said you are Swedish, you speak amazing English, I thought you were Canadian.
Is it also the longest train in the world? Car 65? 🤯
The Tohoku Shinkansen is the fastest and the Hayabusa is the fastest service
mayo joke.. what the hells man get it
What happened with your visiting Call me by your name places vlog??????????????? I want a re-watch!!😢
It's here! ua-cam.com/video/3Euiy0YQ3a8/v-deo.html
Was the cheesecake vegan?
We must have passed you the other direction doing the Hiroshima to Osaka Shinkansen 😂 ua-cam.com/video/ClhQy_5udKA/v-deo.html. Nice vids guys!

いつも食べてるお好み焼きではない

You guys are so loveable and charming. Are you friends or a couple?
Thank you! Couple for 8 years😊
@@OskarandDan that's amazing ❤️
do they have a smoking compartment ?
It’s not the fastest actually, Hayabusa on the Tohoku Line is faster.
Oskar looks like the guy from Sex Education!
Ummm which one??😂
@@OskarandDan George Robinson!
why many shaking in train😂😂😂
It's not the Japan's fastest bullet train; nice video nonetheless.
居酒屋酷いと思う
Do you still have to wear masks in Japan in 2023? Oh dear 😕
Hi Gents.
What app did you use to spy on your train?
Where best to reserve one off bullet train tickets (for the same journey you made, no jr pass), I will be mostly driving.
Nicely done video, cheers 🍻
