I know they are kinda weak and lame, but they are still one of the top guilds of Fiore, and it would've been cool to see them fighting Alvarez Empire soldiers with everyone else.
It’s likely because aside of Bacchus they had no real bond or interaction with fairy tail. They’re basically the only major guild that doesn’t have much interaction with fairy tail.

One theory I never understood: if the dragon slayers were trapped in crystals, then broke free; does it mean that other crystals were former dragon slayers and they all failed to be recovered at some point?
Fairy Tail is such a disappointment... Looking at this specific scenario, Natsu and all of the other Dragon Slayers by themselves against God Serena wouldn't be able to win against him. And yet he got one shot by Acnologia while he basically toyed with all of them until Wendy empowers Natsu for him to win. I never understood this massive flaw in anime in general where an overpowered enemy is able to quickly dispatch a formidable opponent (stronger than the main character) but when meeting the main character then he toys with him until the character gets a power up out of nowhere and wins the fight.
Went from good anime in early arcs then started to get boring. The only good arc was the arc before this final arc-agains the tartaros. The final arc build up were good at start for example when they infiltrate to save markarov. But then when the war started,it is all just seems normal and no hype at all
To be honest. Theres no way in hell they can beat acnologia at that time. I enjoy the anime but they should let the characters get more development to defeat acnologia
Fairy tail is so trash idk y ppl like it. It's the same plot over and over. Enemy shows up, character gets in a rough spot, talks about friendship, friendship plot armor makes them win.....
