I did the same and the foam didn't work for me. Only milk came out or splashed around.

Machine bidon !!! Toujours un voyant qui s'allume...c'est très pénible. Un coup c'est le triangle, un coup c'est le jet, un coup c'est autre chose...franchement poyr 600 euros la machine on est sans cesse en train de nettoyer, ou detartrer ou chercher l'erreur...on passe plus de temps a lire le manuel pour chaque fois qu'il y a un voyant qui s'allume sans arrêt plutôt qu'a boire son cafe. Trop nul je la ramène dès jeudi. 6 mois d'utilisation ma patience a des limites...
