Hey fellow Canadian, you are absolutely correct about the meaning behind this song that exposes the dark reality of this world today but also give hope that all is not lost. If you noticed, Star Shah is a pessimist and this is why you see everyone alone in his background shots - even a cat being alone too. But Zeeshan is an optimist about love and hence, you see all different sorts of love in his background shots. I think it’s an excellent take on a realistic conversation between a pessimist and an optimist and teaches one to tread carefully in life but also to not lose hope. I have been enjoying your reactions thoroughly and I’m glad that you started reacting on Coke Studio Pakistan. Your take so far has been refreshing to watch.
Have you seen the previous Coke Studio Pakistan songs also produced by the same music producer as of this year’s? Phir Milenge, Ye Dunya, Mehram and Go were some nice ones there. Ali Zafar’s new song with Attaullah ji is also great. Anyhow, choose what you may; looking forward to more reactions. Next song btw is most likely a Pashto song (from KPK province) and will be released tomorrow hopefully.
