Oakland School for the Arts | SCHOOL OF ROCK: The Musical

On March 3, 2016, Oakland School for the Arts became the first school ever to perform School of Rock - The Musical.
Before the Broadway production even opened, Andrew Lloyd Webber granted schools and youth groups the opportunity to apply for performance rights of his smash hit new musical.
The students hit the stage of San Francisco’s Curran Theatre and made Broadway (and rock n’ roll) history!
