今から30年前、ニューヨークにいた時、偶然にスカーズデールという町のある病院に腱鞘炎の治療に来られていた坂本龍一さんにお会いしました。その時にいただいたサイン、今も大事な私の宝です。

一度でいいから、生演奏を聴きたかった。
（小学3年の頃、戦場のメリークリスマスの旋律の美しさと和音の美に射止められてから、ピアノで練習しては、youtubeで坂本龍一さんの演奏を聴き、そして、いつの日かコンサートに行ける日を夢見ていた、中学3年生より。）
坂本龍一さん、若い頃より、ずっと好きなアーティストでした、そしてこれからも、永遠に⭐️
ご冥福をお祈り致します🌸
人生の最期まで音楽に情熱を注いだ生き様は本当にかっこよく、理想の生き方でした。ご冥福をお祈りします。ありがとうございました。

Fly liberated and light, there is no pain that calls for rest now; soar that infinite brilliance that you well knew was there; listen to the melodies of the cosmos, yours now; delight in the perfection of full wisdom and understanding, and fly! May this infinite healing and brilliance soon be mine, too; I know the skies will still ring with your earthly compositions... You will be everywhere; your spirit and your compositions have belonged to this Universe forever; they are no misfit...transcending the species, and leaving blessings bigger than what we can experience. But we will all know it, and will while still down here, love your music-- and person -- as much as we always have. I don't wish you well, or send Godspeed, or wishes that all is OK. I know it is, and I will join you in that perfection when I go. Meanwhile, I think I will put on "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" and watch the movie tonight, with a longing heart, dreaming of the beauty you know know and own. FLY!
