All I can say is, I never expected this to happen. The proposal on the hot air balloon, the baby shower, etc. One should never be complacent, that's all.

As someone whose parents divorced when I was 2, I'm grateful all the time that they didn't stay in an unhappy marriage just for the sake of "staying together for the kids." You're not only doing right by you, but you're doing right by Aiden, who will adjust to this like we all do. You and your son both deserve happiness, and sometimes that means having parents who aren't together (but are happier for it).
i only subscribed today (after watching this video). I have deep respect for you that you are willing to walk away from a relationship where you know you aren't being treated right. you are a great mommy and you deserve the best in life!
One of the most honest and real youtubers out there- I have followed this girl when she used to live in tommy's parents house and she's still the same she was back then! Not oversaturated and so down to earth. Cannot lie- I thought for a min the title would be clickbait, have been following you for years & watched all your vids back then- I felt like I knew tommy personally too. hey Suzy, been a long time follower since i was a teen, now in my twenties. When I read the title i was shocked because you guys were highschool sweethearts, but life happens, people can change. Like everyone else is commenting, you are so strong and inspiring for coming out like this and being honest to your viewers. A baby really change our life, and also show our partners' (and friends) true colors! My daughter's father's a great guy, but a lot of "friends" disappeared since the baby was born... and when I was pregnant they were like "oh, we're going to be visiting every week", but in 1 year and a half... not once.

why did your friends disappeared though?
apparently not everybody wants to include a new mommy and baby to their outings. since I didn't have the option (neither wanted) to leave my baby at home with somebody else, I usually had to decline many invitations because the places they invited weren't exactly baby-friendly.
I feel like I'm being entitled, like they had to consider the best places FOR ME, but the truth is I felt really lonely during the first months. also only a few visited me at home (I can really count them in one hand). not all of them are like this, though.
Here's a benefit of doubt for you. Some of them don't stop being friends with you just because you're pregnant or have a baby. It's the way you made them feel; like they're no longer your friend and is not one of your priority. I had a close friend who did that without considering my feelings and did not contact me for months while she went out with someone else and forgot my existence. I realised that she found her new interest so I left by myself. She contacted me afterwards when it was her son's baby shower, but I didn't get back to her. That's one possible reason why they stopped being a friend. Some people are like what you've said, but there are others who aren't. Doesn't necessarily mean they don't hang out with you just because you're a mother now. :)

Hey Suzy. I started following you when you uploaded the Park Bom make up tutorial so it's been a few years now. I kind of sensed the break up a while ago when you uploaded a video (I think it was a vlog) and you were saying how physically tired you were feeling and mentioned like Tommy and you were having a hard time adapting to the new routine and were arguing a lot. We live in the 21st century and I know for some cultures like Asian and in my case Eastern European you grow up with a mentality of you get maried and you have kids and that's it, but really what's important is your happiness and your child's happiness. You're a great mum and I'm sure something very good is awaiting in the future. All the best😙
I don't mean to be rude but why is it most of the time the not so attractive that cheat on people that are already beautiful or have a good personality like you already have it all what more do you need?
I've been cheated on recently so I guess I'm just ranting but he wasn't that attractive and he went and cheated on me, I didn't really care that he wasn't attractive because he was my first love.
Kawneki You would think that unattractive guys would be more loyal especially when their partner is far better looking but all it does is make them more insecure than they already are and what do insecure people do? They look for validation from other women and cheat
Nikkie or, they (the unattractive cheater) could say "well look at how hot my partner is, surely I can get another hottie" It's almost as if their ego/self-esteem rises and they think they are entitled to more; they think since they've already gotten someone attractive they can always get another attractive person.
That's actually a really good point! I know there has actually been research that showed that often ppl will cheat on their s/o when the s/o is just way out of their league b/c somehow internally the other subconsciously feels/knows that they are not as good or up to par...I know it sounds bizarre LOL

You can tell Suzy has such a good heart. Most people would roast the cheater bf or husband in these kind of announcement videos, but Suzy stays classy and just tells her own part without bashing her ex husband. Big hug Suzy, lately I've been through the same situation and I'm a mother of two beautiful girls, the little one only two when we separated. I have to say it's better to stay out of a relationship which no longer working anymore then suck it all in just stay for the sick of children. It's not easy being a single mum but every time when I look at my two beauties I feel so blessed and proud of myself. Thanks for sharing with us Suzy. I can imagine there's a lot going through and it takes time. I have been following your videos for a few years now and you know what it's interesting that I also got separated from my husband recently... life goes on and everything happens for a reason. Life is too short to stick around with someone doesn't match well and a separation is better off that way. The pain is temporary and good things will follow afterwards. We should feel proud of ourselves being able to step out bravely from the comfort zone and make a better change for ourselves xxx

I've been following you for a while now, from you being pregnant to giving birth to Aiden, and now? Now you're a strong independent woman who doesn't need a man who don't deserve you. Keep hustling, keep it positive and work hard for your baby boy. I know a situation can seem so bad to make the positive things unthinkable, but at the end, is what you want that matters.
I need to be honest, I'm happy for you, happy that you got out of a critical situation for Aiden's future and yours too. And one more thing, I was a little worried when I didn't see activity from you anymore. It really isn't a big deal if you take more time to make videos (unless it's your main job), I feel like the longer a video takes the better the quality. So no pressure, take care of yourself and prioritize what is more important for you.
