That knowledge about the foam tearing away from the material probably saved me hours of frustration, and having to redo my headliner. Thank you, and good work!
Hi Slick, I'm in the UK, I have an old MPV that I use a my daily run around, it's not worth spending a fortune on speakers, stereo system, amplifiers, etc. but the stock speakers were blown, I've replaced them with some nice little two way units, but as the originals and consequently the replacements, are only 4" speakers they lack punch, so I was looking for ideas to fit something a little bigger in the door panels, and after watching your vid I think I'm sold on making my own custom panels for the doors. I was a GRP Laminator many years ago so am competent with GRP, I just needed a little inspiration, which you have supplied. Many thanks, and keep up the great work.
Great video Bro. I’ll be doing this on my channel and I’ll mention your channel. Keep doin’ your thang. I like the setup. I also like how you explain the installation process.
I just saw the vlog bro it's a good how to video and like you said your learning I mean your at least giving it a go and your willing to learn and as you learn you eventually make mistakes and as you learn you'll eventually perfect your skill that your picking up and your honest about it your no professional. 👍🏽 echale ganas Bro.
I was about to attempt to build a sound bar overhead in a 2000 4 door Accord for 4x 6.5 midbass DS18s. But now that I've seen you pull the headline down that looks a lot easier than the way I'm going.... Am I correct? Another question.... Will the sunroof make things a little more complicated? I've never pulled down a liner with a Sroof. It has the back sliding cover. I'm thinking I will have to eliminate that... Any advice is appreciated. New subscriber!
And behind the row of 6.5s I'm placing 4x 8" mid bass woofers. I have 2x 6x9's in the rear deck and 2x 15s where the backseat was at. And 2x 6.5 2way 1 in each door
I have a obs ford a 92 flareside i want to do something similar but my headliner is cardboard on top but fiberglass in the middle but cardboard backing will it be safe for me to fiberglass on the cardboard I’ve fiberglass before but never on cardboard headliner what would you recommend?
Do you use 1/2” thick ply wood for this? Doing my headliner this weekend. Been wanting to do this forever now I have the inspiration from you! Real good video keep up the good work big dawg
Yo where you at… You gave me a good idea, not bad it’s good. No one is gonna get in the car and look up for too long so the mistake in the fabric isn’t gonna get noticed. Just say the dog did it …. Haja

How do you wire the speakers to the vehichle once it’s like that?
You run wires up the pillar to behind the headliner
U gas bruh I like it most definitely did your thing on that
Really appreciated bro thanks
Here from tiktok!🤘🍻
Cmon 💪💪
And thats how Im going to get instruments up there. Thanks?
Nice work . I can’t wait to do my headliner
what brand jigsaw is that? Do you think any cheap one can do the job or do you recommend a good or better one?
This is a 20$ Walmart jig saw I’ve had it for 4 years no issues
How do you mount the headliner up if the speaker pods are covering the mounting holes
Where do you get the suede from ?
great job bro love your videos. I noticed you don't like the sponge headliner. What is the best material you like to work with that won't wrinkle?
I just don’t like the foam because once it’s on there you can’t rip it back off and work with it
And thanks 🙏
Video on where or how to wire them for the best audio?
It all depends on your setup
What size is the plywood? 1/2 ? 3/4?
1/2
What plywood exactly are you using ? As in size ?
Good vid
Thanks bro

Yeah it would come out good just reinforce it with resin and then do the process with the speaker rings
@@SlickGarage just resin the cardboard with resin or lay a layer of resin and some fiberglass Matt?
@@JaminGalv the fiberglass would be a better option but both would be just fine
