Thanks,, not too bad, best explanation I have seen on this. Still another stupid idea by Chrysler not to be able to do this at the top of the car, under the hood.
thanks, i'm currently trying this and am having twisting the socket out of the car. was there any nuance to this or is it just a simple twist? mine currently wont budge when i try to turn it
Thanks for making this. I have a question. I need to replace my bulb but you said not to do it when it's cold because the plastic might break. Well it hasn't gotten above freezing for weeks where I live and it's not going to change soon. What do you do if it's cold?
But to try & replace the front park light bulbs which I need to replace I'm going to have to take the wheel off to get at the side light properly & to replace the bulb & I will be replacing both of them as I will installing them with Leds W5W Kind Regards Peter
What I can't seem to get right is how to orient the bulb to seat it in the socket and screw it back in. Tried for an hour or more this afternoon and it never would do the right-hand quarter turn. I fully expect it the whole thing to fall out once I start driving tomorrow. Phooey.
Dick Buelow no, but if your arms are bigger than mine then yeah, you'll need to jack up the car for room. Also try turning the wheels in one direction or another.
Came here from another video that tells the viewers to take the grill off, take the bumper out, then pull then engine and transmission, in order to access the lights (just kidding about the engine and transmission part - NOT kidding about the grill and bumper): ua-cam.com/video/V_AKA_62ULw/v-deo.html Thanks for the content. Thank you for this video! I just replaced my headlight and brake lights.
Thank you. Your instructions were so easy to follow. I didn't have to take the tire off.
Thank you so much!! There is so many videos making it harder but you sir made this so easy thank you.
Really good demonstration
Nice and easy to follow
Perfect results

Thank you so much 😊 I was not about to take my bumper off to change a light bulb 😅
Thank you for sharing this. That's the way to do it! I still remember when I replaced my 2.7 Sebring battery...oh God...
You took the bulb out so easily! My PT cruiser won't give theirs up without a fight
Took me longer to find this video then to change the part thanks a bunch
Perfect. Thank you. Done in less than 10 minutes.
Can you reach the high beam from that access panel and remove it too?
I changed the low-beam bulb on my 2006 pt cruiser but the light is still not turning on. I would appreciate any help
What buld type did you use?
Hey, I'm trying to change my headlight bulbs, but my hands are too fat to get close to the socket plugs, any good tool that grabbing it.

Same here I tried n tried n actually cut my hand doing it it was so tight. I mean it's supposed to be but I wish it was easier for me at least
What is the name of the part you called a ‘trap door’? I’m missing one but don’t know what it’s called.

Before I bought myself a heat gun I used the ladies of the house hair dryer to warm up the plastic
@@CarManiac125 I was thinking that. Better find an extension cord! thank you!
what about if you replace the bulb but still wont go on ? next step?
Thank you. It didn't occur to me to go through the wheel well.
Thanks a lot for the video

Sometimes the bulbs come with o-ring that seem to be too big for them. Did you try using any die-electric grease on the o-ring?
Do you have this car jacked up a little to better access the plate and bulb?
Dick Buelow no, but if your arms are bigger than mine then yeah, you'll need to jack up the car for room. Also try turning the wheels in one direction or another.
Would have helped if maybe you mention what number bulb your useing
9006 is the low beam bulbs and 9005 is the high beam bulbs
Warm cold plastic, including the tray door with a heat gun.
