SIR WHO GAVE YOU THE RHYTHM DOCTOR EFFECT????? (If you don’t know, Rhythm doctor is a game maded by the same creator as ADOFAI, and the 2-X has some silly shenanigans which felt like that part where the screen moved.)
very well made, my only critiques is that the score feels awkward to look at and understand. commonly with scoring systems in rhythm games they go off of points based on how accurate you hit notes. additionally, percentages are commonly saved for and used to display accuracy, which starts at 100% and typically dwindles down through the song unless the player is a literal machine. your scoring system, while effective currently, acts more like a progress bar until the song is finished, at which point is accuracy. having these all as seperate ui elements: score, accuracy, and song progress would be far greater on a player experience basis. not to say what you've implemented is bad or useless, but modifying it to tell these stats separately would be beneficial for the end user. having a visible points system could additionally help with modifiers too, things like "no misses", "double speed", etc., each modifier could apply a multiplier to the score which would help place players above those playing without modifiers on things like leaderboards.
It may look like one but the score was not meant to be your accuracy and acts as your score instead. With the maximum being 100% + .0001% * Note counts I mostly got the idea from gekichumai but imma add option for this in the settings
@@AfterODDs any plans for adding a max score(-) option for accuracy to make it easier to see overall acc throughout a chart? it would fix the problem offbeet has with the (+) method of percentage scoring
absolutely insane, I cannot WAIT for this, my rhythm game addiction must be fed (within a completely reasonably frame of work, patience creates "perfection") visuals are top notch, while running the one-key system too... its peak cinema...
You know its gonna be a good rhythm games with them overwhelming charts that are still perfect-able yes i cant wait for the release. Also the tip screen looks oddly familiar but thats probably a coincidence 🤔
I have a suggestion that it's easier said than done but I would love this game to have more like animation style like punching instead of kicking It's ok if you don't do it I still wanna play the game
Lets see… the name of one of the difficulties is finale, the hp bar is now more colorful, colored effects, tv… HMMMMMMMMMM, ok, ODDs if you are reading this, you need to add the music “finale” from undertale pls (Its a suggestion tho)
This game looks really, really cool, honestly If I could submit a song for the game but I'm too poor (well I'm a kid so yea, I don't have money...) for any music program so, there is a lil question For how much time artist will be able to submit songs, or there is no limit? Just if there's none then maybe I could submit my own someday
world reset is probably the chart that went through a lot of revision (and its still ongoing even after this video released)
It so good keep it up, u never told us the controls 🙋🤔

@AfterODDs I see, I guess I'm not familiar with the structure.
I definitely agree giving the player choice to which is displayed is ideal.
