One thing that will always be nightmare fuel is hearing the person's final moments before getting eaten. What's worse, here is the beast titan *speaking* this guy's final thoughts as he's eating him.
I am 100% behind you on this one. That is pretty much the most haunting thing.

All jokes aside. Picture yourself being hunted by this thing in the woods...it can hear your thoughts. It knows where you're thinking of going, it knows where you thought would be a good hiding spot, it knows you're terrified....and its enjoying it.

This was so terrifying and yet satisfying watching a guy being humiliated and killed by an ayakashi from another world. Something this brutal I won't recommend it to my worst enemy at all!

Honestly, I find it fiendishly difficult to resist this type of interrogation
I mean, when you are told a question, your mind automatically process and recall the data regarding the interrogant, something the the youkai reads.
How can you defend from that?
It is possible you have to force yourself to not think about your favorite song or link information with an image its not the easiest thing in the world but it is possible

@@MlDN1GHT Protagonist doesn't mean good guy or hero, it's the lead character around which the plot revolves, they can be good, evil or neutral. An antagonist is any other notable character who opposes the protagonist. Seika is definitively the protagonist, but he's an anti-hero, he has noble goals but he'll use some pretty horrific tactics to meet those goals, he's an "ends justify the means" type. That being said he's mostly good, after all he was a famous hero in his last life, albeit hated by people in power and feared by his peers for his monstrous abilities. I think he's an interesting and morally complicated character in my opinion.

What I like about this anime is that the demon forces are painted as inherently evil but you learn as the show goes on that they’re just as human as the main cast, it’s like they’re fighting a war rather than fighting a tide of demons. So when you go back on all the people seika merked you think that maybe he was more of an antagonist this whole Time haha

I think the scary thing that people don't understand I don't know if I remember this correctly but this ayakashi doesn't just read the brain he reads it faster than you think before you even realize that you can even try lying to it there's no winning scenario in this and whats worse is apparently this thing can paralyze you in fear so there's no running away

I love that they have a whole genre of horror that is just wrong place, wrong time. You were late coming home? Moved into the wrong house? Talked to the wrong person? Whelp, you're doomed, too bad.
The beast titan really let himself go
Now, I know that seemed brutal, but it's just how these things work. You hire someone to do a job, payment in exchange for services rendered is expected. Sadly, Satori doesn't need cash. No pockets.
I'm not a big fan of Anime with themes of Reincarnation + OP Character, but this Anime caught me with its Ayakashi summoning Themes.

When i saw him, I went to search about this yokai. I found him and i must say they made very good copy of him.
As I is he part of some foreign lore if so sounds terrifying
@@boatenthusiastandexplorer6961 this yokai is from Japan mythology. His ability to read mind gave it advantage in the fight. The only way to defend from this yokai is to clear your mind

I don’t know. I think they enjoy the terror they inspire a little too much for my taste. If they fed off of fear, that’d be different, but I’d rather not have servants that play with their meals this much. Plus, the fact that this thing went and started reading Seika after this means that it plays a little too loose with its powers. There’s plenty of beings that are much better behaved, even if securing their services is a little more complicated.
