Some whacky time signature shenanigans happening from 2:29. Up until that point the song is in 4, but from there it sounds to my ears like 6+6+5+3+3+5+5+6+6, and then it's in 3's until the end of the song.

I think at this point it’s just pattern recognition and I’ve basically memorized timings for spacing between notes
