noconflictbanana I bought a pair for myself a while back, they are amazing! Nothing special about them apart from the noise isolation but the flat frequency response and makes them sound really good. That also helps with mixing, highly recommend them.

It's a mixer, I think he uses it to mix the sound of drums and the backing track into the headphones.
inconnector I think you plug the microphones into it and it allows you to record it into the computer on a single track if you like.
