This is a Song in syriac Language, Wadi al Safi was of Assyrian Origin and a member of the syriac-maronite Church. Syriac is an aramaic Dialect Language spoken by Jesus Christ.
Dear Anonymous Near East, May he rest in piece Mr, Wadee3 El-Safi. He sing this song in Assyrian language, which both of of Syriac or Caldian are denominations belonging to the nationalistic of Assyrian nation mother of both languages. Thank you.
Nope, the Chaldeans were before the Assyrians. Shamshi Addad migrated from Babylon and moved north to Nineveh to assemble the Assyrian Empire which adopted the Shubarian God Ashur as their GOD and named their empire after him. They were later defeated by the Chaldeans under the leadership of one of napuplassar and his son Nabukkhadnasser. Don't pull information from Chikhana, it is not correct.
RGD Md quite an imagination you’ve got. Here’s a quote “Unlike the East Semitic Akkadian-speaking Akkadians, Assyrians and Babylonians, whose ancestors had been established in Mesopotamia since at least the 30th century BC, the Chaldeans were not a native Mesopotamian people, but were late 10th or early 9th century BC West Semitic Levantine migrants to the south eastern corner of the region, who had played no part in the previous 3,000 years or so of Sumero-Akkadian and Assyro-Babylonian Mesopotamian civilization and history.” The Chaldeans were rapidly and completely assimilated into the dominant Assyro-Babylonian culture, as was the case for the earlier Amorites, Kassites, Suteans and Arameans before them. By the time Babylon fell in 539 BC, the Chaldean tribes had already disappeared as a distinct race, becoming completely absorbed into the general population of southern Mesopotamia, and the term "Chaldean" was no longer used or relevant in describing a specific ethnicity or race of men. However, the term lingered in some quarters until the Seleucid period, after which it disappeared, but this later term was used only in relation to a socio-economic class of astrologers with no ethnic implications, and not a race of people or land. The nation of Chaldea in southeast Mesopotamia seems to have disappeared even before the fall of Babylon, and the succeeding Achaemenid Empire (546-332 BC) did not retain a province or land called Chaldea, and made no mention of a Chaldean race in its annals.”
RGD Md The term "Chaldean" has fairly recently been revived, initially to describe those Assyrians who broke from the Assyrian Church of the East between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries and entered communion with the Catholic Church. This is a historic, ethnic and geographic inaccuracy. After initially calling it "The Church of Assyria and Mosul" in 1553 AD and designating its first leader as the "Patriarch of the East Assyrians", it was later renamed the Chaldean Catholic Church in 1683” The naming by Rome is believed to be due to a misinterpretation of the term Ur Kasdim, the supposed north Mesopotamian birthplace of Abraham in Hebraic tradition as Ur of the Chaldees, and a reluctance to use the earlier terms, such as Assyrians, East Assyrians, East Syrians and Nestorians, due to their connotations with the Assyrian Church of the East and Syriac Orthodox Church”
RGD Md I hope you learn more before making absolute claims which are basically false. The background of the Chaldean Catholic Church is the Chaldean Patriarchate of the Church of Assyria and Mosul, formed out of the Church of the East in 1552 by Patriarch Shimun VIII Yohannan Sulaqa, recognised as "of the Chaldeans" by the Holy See in 1553.” Your people broke away from the church that Christ started in 1552 and even changed and sold out their nationality
You did but we took it from you because you did not know your true name and identity. You kept saying you are Assyrians and we know you are not the original people of Mesopotamia and we hoped you remain idiots for a long time so you don't claim it. The Persians knew but they did not want to reveal the name of the original people. You are not, only a group of Al-Kildaniyoon can say that because they are the true origin.
Rasheed Rashid Al Qalil Al-Adab /Adab Siz your prophet had missing teeth after getting punched. He copied everything from waraqa ibn nawfal and then he died. But Muhammad was left for three days after he died because the Muslims thought he’d wake up like Christ but he didn’t and instead the sahih narrative said that he stunk and was bloated like a pregnant woman and his nails were green from death. But our Christ left the tomb alive. Now go look the church of Jubail in Saudi Arabia the only church that my Assyrian people built inside your god forsaken land. Ashur Gubara
Can someone who is a native Assyrian speaker confirm whether Wadih El Safi’s Assyrian in this song is fluent or not? I wonder if he spoke it or just learned it for his songs.
