This is honestly one of the best super mario games ever made. Nintendo really made sure to show the fans that they appreciate us and we love them even more for it.
That's exactly why you don't think this is emotional. You haven't played the game. You don't know any of these characters, or the memories you spent with them. It's about your experience playing, not just spectating and making comments like this.
This, in my opinion, is the real celebration of any anniversary of Mario. Also in my opinion, Mario Odyssey is the best Mario game ever. The gameplay is smooth and it has never felt better to play as Mario, the length of the game and extra end game content was above and beyond my expectations as I thought it would be a few moons extra with no creativity and thats all but it was way better with a variety of missions. Almost every kingdom is memorable and has an identity that sets itself from the rest with awesome level design and tense game play in certain moments. The music is top notch, the creativity was out of this world and how you can create your own way to get to moons or locations. Souvenirs and costumes were a really great addition along with the coins actually being meaningful as a currency and a way to collect more moons and 100%ing it. New Donk City in itself was amazing and that moon to celebrate all things Mario was my favorite moment of the whole game for sure! The retro 2D side scrolling mario parts were genius and had me grinning everytime I came across them and never got boring or stale. All in all this game had everything that you could want from a Mario game and then some and this is will always be the standard that I will compare the future games with until one comes and surpasses it.
DLC should be the part were Luigi has his own journey and a new Kingdom could be the place where Daisy lives (I forgot the name.) The time period well the same time when Mario is trying to save Peach
I kind of like the idea of a post campaign kingdom where you now have the choice of being either one and maybe it could be some kind of mixture of all kingdoms but I do really like the idea of Daisy’s home
I've never been a nintendo fan (not that I dislike it, just not my type of game console). But I can't say how much watching this makes me want to play Super Mario Odyssey! :D
Never saw what the various Mario girls saw in him, though I suppose fighting a giant evil tortoise creature and rescuing them might give him the edge..
@A1d4n3299 I think (personally) the controls in this game are a lot smoother, I overall think the gameplay is quicker and more free. The gameplay is like if Galaxy and 64 had a baby! So I’d say Odyssey definitely has an edge in gameplay, freedom, and it’s mechanics. There’s also more to do when the game is finished, and Cappy is a better companion than Luma. BUT... I will say that Galaxy has the edge on music (it has the best OST in any video game, you cannot convince me otherwise), spirit/soul, and innovation. In addition, Galaxy has an advantage in the “full package” (and Galaxy 1 is better then 2 also for a lot the same reasons). So I think both are 10/10 games, and both have advantages in certain things over the other(s)

To be fair, this wasn't the first time he did this level - you can tell because the first time you enter it, Cappy remarks, "wow! look at all these people!" So he kinda cheesed it by practicing first... but really, only tryhards/gods could do this level on first try.
I burst into tear when Pauline recognized Mario, although she put a comma between the jump and the man, I still get the nostalgic Jump man from the Donkey Kong.

No, super Luigi odyssey
