Differences from the original series:
MAIN DIFFERENCES
-You can actually travel between levels at any time and press buttons on the navigator in S8 and S9 to activate portals in different chapters
-An actual opening scene with a tutorial
-Different sound effects, though the moving and collecting parts can be altered
-You can skip through the cutscenes
-A seizure friendly setting
-The ability to change the text color, though you shouldn’t switch to black
-Wisdom gems are now crystalline shards and don’t look like plumbobs
THE BASEMENT
-Extra rooms and a new puzzle in the basement
-One cannot short circuit the generator with a spoon, which is nonexistent until S10
-Mysterious green lights in various rooms
-No purpose for the ancient coin
-Secrets being micro stabilizers
-Binary patches with karma portals in nearly every chapter
-Familiar rooms from SNEE behind each portal
-Monoliths
-Floating security cameras
-Sketches of Skutnik’s concept art and architecture
-A scene where we can actually access the lighthouse dungeon
THE LIGHTHOUSE
-The shard being in the arcade machine
-A picture of Albert Einstein and his equation, made to solve the equation easier
-The sneak peek of S2 behind a karma portal
-The intro and end music in certain scenes
-The rotating dial puzzle being much easier
-The projected image being a cartoon
-No live action ending scene
-The digout key being in plain sight
THE LOOP
-The Y coordinates being reversed
-The statue being replaced by a karma portal
-You don’t have to start over after solving the last puzzle
THE LAB
-The Lab’s rooftop background being pitch black
-The lab and attic keys being marked
-Handle of the 2nd floor machine not being a screw
-A note from Sunshine Bunnygirl 17 about how to prepare the formula
-Instead of splashing acid onto the controls, we actually pour the liquid into it via funnel
-Yes, there is a funnel to collect
-Extra room in the lab with the control to raise the second gate
-Telescope images are reversed
-There’s no 596 or 728 locations, though a looped variation of it is in the Shattered Quadrant
-After fixing the statue, its laser will power up cubes in the distance
THE ROOT
-No valve turning opening in S5
-It’s mandatory to collect the lists of locations
-You can access the spike trapped room in the ancient temple by disabling it via navigator
-The locked room in the Corridor is not an infinite loop
-No long wait while in the mover
THE EDGE
-You can enter the pipe next to where the defense system elevator is, just by disabling a protocol in the broken transporter
-You can return to the outside after disabling the system
THE CORE
-No intro with several 7’s
-Codes in S7 are randomized, though the symbol locations are the same
-The meaning of the number 32
THE PLAN
-Don’t play S8 without completing the previous adventure first; the game will crash if you do that and pick up a clue
-No layered 8’s intro
-Liz and Murtaugh’s conversation is now in the form of a note
-All backgrounds in S8 are black
-All codes in S8 are randomized
-Easy access to the secret location, where the magnifying device from the early version of SNEE is
THE TEMPLE
-The traveling threat from the start of S9 is in the form of a note
-The music changes when you leave the red section of the pyramid, where in the original it changed after raising the cage hatch
-The stone eyes are called ‘sarcophagus ornaments’
-We get to see more of the Shiva statue when climbing down
-This is not a point of no return either; just by placing a shard in the scale spot of the 8th dimension.
THE EXIT
-In S10, after clicking the white button, there is no montage of disintegrating portals and “Natajara…?” statue
-No stick and spring to collect; only a stringed magnet can be used to retrieve the secret in the church’s hole
-You can repair the satellite in the basement elevator location and go up
-The Loop puzzle is 10 times easier
-There is no weather vane on the lighthouse’s tower, Murtaugh has longer hair and the landscape looks more like a tundra than a desert
THE FUTURE/FLF
-The pictures in FLF are neither Future Loop Foundations’ past or an old fashioned family (HD), but more concept art and sketches
SHATTERED QUADRANT/SUBMACHINE UNIVERSE REMAKE
-SNEE is now called “Shattered Quadrant”
-The portal is replaced by a ticket transporter, and we have to collect tickets and activate monoliths in the process
-The observation room, collector’s room, listener’s room, broken bell room, Karina’s sewer, sub bot research center, the unfinished basement with a scale, areas from past locations, and rooms with wisdom gems are absent from the game
-We place the dragon tongues on statues in the ancient locations; the horse statue room is also necessary
-A room with a 4th push lever and cat statue shrines are new
-The locations have different names
-The speaker and horn in the Number Station don’t work
-The Escher room is referred to as a “Tilted Gravity Anomaly”, despite it not being a loop
-There’s a loop in the style of The Backrooms
-Nearly half of the karma portals do not take you to the place you’d end up from SNEE
-The Pi room is referred as the “Mathematical Museum Unit”, and the digits of Pi are a lot shorter
-Instead of tons of theories by fans, there are several facts on screen spoken by people I call “the questioner” and “the smart one”
-Prince’s room remains, but the console plays an important role in the adventure
-The winter room is extended and called the “Laser Junction Infiltration Station”, which could be a reference to Schoolhouse Rock’s Conjunction Junction song
-In the church, the mechanical hand is replaced with a menorah
-Yombai and Lost5ilver’s music does not play and their panels are removed
-There are multiple CD slots throughout the locations, used for a future puzzle
-Red vials can operate portals
-At the very end, there is an elderly explorer waiting for us
Oh I didn't realize and don't understand why youtube made this comment spam :(
Sorry for not checking and thanks for good explanation!!!
@@TSUMA0805 it was spam?
also the lightings in some of the levels in chapter 3 are changed
You have my respect for solving the Shattered Quadrant. That one is complex as hell
Oh thanks! Yeah SQ's difficulty was not that hard, but going next places just by looking tickets' symbols almost made my brain explode
Wow i didn't know the creator just remastered all his game chapters mixed with the new, unfortunally for me, i am late to discover the game (i played that game in flashpoint) cool vid 👍
Thanks!
very very thank you
i feel like the shattered quadrant is basically just submachine universe but you dont use xyz portal.
Yeah but I didn't realize until recently because I haven't played universe XD
Especially is i will have to use 1 by one card untill im be able to go to the room where i need to
Nice
Thank you :)
Thank you so much!!
I have a question though, in level 'Break the Loop' at 1:57:42 the portal is opened in the video. When I do the exact same thing all the lights are still colored red and the portal is closed. What do I do to open it?
It opens if you're in the correct layer (look at the panel bottom right, then go to chapter 8 or 9 and switch to the correct layer). Video shows it's layer 2.
If you don't have chapter 8 complete you don't have access to all 7 layers, so delay going for monoliths until you have all 7 layers accessible.
The layer for each monolith location doesn't change between playthroughs so you can memorise them, but even if you don't the game tells you what layer it's supposed to be.
@@paulstelian97 Yes exactly! Thanks for good explanation
It changed:) You no longer can find some cards where they used to be, some entrances are blocked...
just started playing it few days ago, today i finished it thanks to your walkthrough, but when i tried to do what you did in 1:54:08 i didn't had any micro stabilizers when i entered Chapter 1
update: nevermind, i solved it
Glad to hear this video was helpful!
What these little lights in chapter 1 mean? I have the very last one red and it doesn't give me the micro stabilizer. What did I miss?
'submachine: the engine'? theree going to be more?
Yep I think so XD
I do not understand the monoliths at 1:54 , how do u know to go to chapter 8 and put in that number, then go back to chapter 1?
Each monolith in chapter 1~7 (+ the Future) is accessible when you are at the right layer using the machine in chapter 8 or 9.
The number of layer you have to be in is shown in the entrance of the monolith. If the layer is 5, it will say 'IIIIOII'.
It is the same way as completing chapter 9 with changing the layers.
So you have to go to the entrance of the monolith, check the sign which show the layer number, go to chapter 8 or 9 and change the layer, then go back to the entrance of the monolith, it will open.
In the video I just remembered the correct layers so I unlocked the monoliths right away.
1:07:27 You didn't place the microstabilizers into the holes.

RELEASE OCT 13TH 2023
how does the puzzle at 11:27 work?
There are 4 devices and each has four numbers, but you can only change 3 numbers on each device. So one number is fixed. That fixed number is a correct number.
Combining all four fixed numbers and changing numbers of all devices to that four numbers will open the portal.
@@TSUMA0805 thanks man!
@@derpisto Thank you for watching!
The only thing I dislike is that the screen shakes too much compared to flash version
Yes maybe it was fullscreen?
i think you can it from the setting
@@nadaamjad9621 oh thank you!
