We Rams fans dont get alot of coverage, despite being one of the top teams in the league from a team dynamic standpoint. We are in a very rich age as a team. The Mcvay era has been and will continue to be a historic period. Particularly with GM Les Sneads ability to build a roster. Hell, even Kronke's willingness to pay players. Our culture as a team transcends sports even. There is a real ability to deeply respect and adore this team since Mcvay took hold of the reigns. Before him we had a historically bad run. (we are talking like 2 wins a season sometimes), so Rams fans are always going to appreciate somebody doing deep dives like this, cause we just cant get enough of what we are seeing and have a real heartfelt gravitation to being as connected to the team and their different styles/personalities. We know what it feels like to field a squad of blockheads like in the fisher era that you watch, but dont really like or respect. That's where 90% of the league is and what 90% of fans are subjected to with these other squads. We have something special and we know it. We got the coolest coach and culture in the league.
Well said! The Rams team building philosophy alone is historic. I remember talking head laughing at the Idea of another failed dream team as far back as 2018. They liked making Vince Young Eagles and Hayneworth Washington team comparisons. The reality is 5hat it has proven effective an Noone will acknowledge that before the Rams Snead/McVay era the trade deadline in the NFLA meant nothing. No so much now days ( see McCaffery trade)
Great breakdown liked your other vids too. Alaric Jackson doesn't even get enough love from a good portion of the fanbase. He is basically an undrafted rookie. He played mostly guard in 2022 with a decimated Oline yet he was the lone brightspot on offense IMO. Keep the content coming. U got a subsciber.

That Play where the PI was in question could’ve gone either way. Defender doesn’t have to turn their head to the ball anymore as long as they don’t face guard the receiver, at the same time the defender can’t negate a receivers movement to adjust to the ball which it kind of looks like at the end when nacua falls to the ground. I believe nacua was trying to slip the defender and catch it off the back shoulder rather than falling down but like i said it’s hard to say definitively. Good breakdown and thanks for giving our rams some love.

Never heard of Alex until now. Man, is he great at breaking down plays, players, and concepts! Have you ever had someone else change the channel on the television and it’s difficult to follow because you aren’t the one controlling the remote? Alex shows a play more than once which makes it easier and easier to follow what he’s talking about. I am a Rams fan. Wish he was too because I haven’t seen anyone analyze the Rams better than him.

On the play to Kupp where Robinson and Higs are blocking downfield and block the same player. You can see where Tyler tries to push Robinson downfield to the safety. In this case the block would set up to the inside, Higs and Rob would push the defender toward the sideline and Kupp would typically extend the push towards the sideline so that by the time he cuts the defenders are trying to turn back towards blockers in motion. Kupp knows the play is off schedule so he cuts early attempting to get the free defender to turn his hips toward him and then attempt to make a move around him.

Great to see some recognition of Kobie turner. An interesting point to note is that just purely because of his talent and explosiveness, Raheem morris kept him at the nose although his natural position is where Aaron Donald was playing. Even as an undersized nose he was able to wreak havoc against some very good defenses while facing a very high percentage of doubles. Bobby brown is more than capable at the nose and it will be very interesting to see what Kobie can do in a DE position. Especially with a young explosive line around him.
This was an excellent video. Focuses on the plays does some nice repeating of the place that we can follow his study. He also doesn't blow a bunch of nonsense at the video audience for 2 minutes. But excellent will get likes, subscribers and additional revenue
