Try these two The Concert at Rockaplast Germany 1985. And NY City Town Hall 1974. Early set is best. He loved Hendrix . He thought he brought a special cool to rock n roll which of course He drix did. He blew everyone's mind But Roy couldn't believe how many electronic gi.mibaks Hendrix had used Whammy Bar distortion wahh wahh pedals all of it to Roy was distraction to clean playing Roy plays the cleanest purest tone you'll ever hear out of a telecaster. He played country first and the country players ..they are in another world altogether. They can really play. Serious guitarists know Chet Atkins Glen Campbell Roy Clarke are among the greatest guitarists that ever lived.

Watch his right hand the picking hand the ring finger and pinky each zero in on the tone n volume controls and the whales crying sounds you hear the long wail of a crying whale is from him turning each knob up or down as he picks a string and bends the note. Very very few guitarists have ever mastered this Jeff Beck was a friend of Roy and greatly influenced by those exact techniques. He uses them on his Stratocaster Fender with a custom mini whammy bar he can manipulate with a pinky . Roy does many songs that you rehear for the first time. Try Hey Joe from any other thousand places Roy played at
