The trauma harnesses are references to a Dr Who Episode. It's explained in-game that the suits were designed to return their occupants to a home base, but the suit was unable to tell if the occupant was dead, and had no home base set, so they just wander around attacking everything.
Stealth suit is the main reason I do this DLC, even if the initial dialogue is painful after the first playthrough.
