Awesome Video Fran! You're the Man!... If you include cars that have excellent cornering characteristics, basically NO other car out there (capable of 180+ MPH) can beat the PerformancePerDollar ratio that you get from the Superlite SLC. It's a fantasic car, great product!
The brembo brakes are invluded in our kit package along with most everything except drivetrain Obviously s new gm crate ls3 at $6000 and s g96/01 transaxle at $5000 gives you a great performing package for minimum expense 430 hp in a 2400lb car is exciting performance at a budget price
I love this car and will get one I hope in the next year but I do have a question. Can you get an exhaust system to fit on these kits that has more of the supercar sound such as the Lamborghini or Ferrari. I am asking because most of the SL-C cars I hear on youtube sound like a GT500 with a Borla exhaust on it. I want the supercar sound.
The engine is what determines the sound as much as the exhaust. If you put a Chevy V8 under the hood, it will sound a lot like a Corvette. If you have a Mazda rotary with a turbo installed it would sound more like a RX7/RX8 turbo. Your best bet might be a Mercedes V12. I believe that is what Pagani uses. If you like the sound of a Zonda, then you could be in business.
Gary Manis That would be exceedingly expensive, You see, Pagani uses a specially modified Mercedes V12. It doesn't really just come off the shelf. Furthermore, wiring up a Mercedes engine without some factory help is really rather difficult, and lastly Pagani runs full titanium exhaust. Judging by jonjamie6's comment. I can guarentee he doesn't have either the know how or cash to buy a Merc V12, wire the many auxiliary systems to an aftermarket ECU capable of handling a V12 (Their are VERY few, and ALL are over 3K in price), and finally, paying someone to weld up full tubular equal length headers, to a full titanium exhaust system.
jonjamie6 you can do a flat plane crank with equal length and/or 180 deg headers and get that sound, if you're willing to experiment a little. Search around on YT for that combo and you may find something you like. I have the same desire, btw. itbs can improve the sound a lot as well- give it a higher pitch.
ThePandaBeat I agree with that. An amazing sound. I think you'd still have to play a bit to get something a little tighter but it might only need an exhaust- which is already going to be different because this is a mid engined car.

I really wish that , someday I can purchase a SuperLite Coupe , and use EJ20/EJ25 (Turbo'd , of course , straight from Subaru's STi model) for it .
This an awesome unique car
Waiting for the Stig to drive and comment.
The best thing about it is this is a 50k sportscar!
More like a 80k sportcar. Only the kit is 44k and then you add to it the engine, the transmission, tires, brakes etc.

The engine from the new Mustang 350R would be great for this

Srt8 engine is too long I'm afraid
