My point is that it doesn't have to cost one a lot to help someone that has great needs - just a bit of thought and inconvenience.

That's so cool..the good that comes from helping others is so rewarding..even if the relief is on short lived the receivers are given such hope...it's a walk that only brings good fruit....go for it.
You can see how much the sons emotions had changed.. he looked so down and could see the despair in his face... and by the end he was so happy, smiling non stop.... he def felt the impact of your actions and that even when things seem to be at the worst, life works in mysterious ways..
