Select the barcode scanner from the Media button. After Barcode Scanner gets added in screen, use the formula on “onScan” property of Barcode Scanner to get the value of Barcode or QR code while scanning code. Then using “Set” method of Barcode Scanner scanned value; set in “scanvalue” variable. Set(scanValue,BarcodeScanner1.Value)

For example, I have multiple managers who have multiple staff that I keep an inventory for on one workbook. If one manager wants to sort and view all of staff with what they are using can that be done? As well as generate report for that manager to see overall cost for his team, when warranty expires, how many of each model etc?

I followed your first few steps exactly but my table does not auto load data. Nothing is being imported. I'll try using a SharePoint list instead I guess.
In a SharePoint Online site, create a list named SimpleApp. In a column named Title, create entries for your columns. Sign in to Power Apps. Under Start from data, select SharePoint Hope this helps!

This works almost perfectly for me. It allows me to get all my inventory in a system. I am now looking for a way to easy add and subtract my inventory qty so that I can management my items once I get a sale. I would love if I can add 1 more options on the home page. One for Adding qty and subtracting qty to a product. I would like it to first search by UPC using the barcode scanner, and then be able to hit the + or - button to add and remove the qty. Is there a way to easily achieve this?

Yes that's a bug sometimes. I always prefer just putting the Power BI Tiles in the powerapps. I recently uploaded a new video showing that. Hope it Helps!

The best way to start is to: 1) create a new blank tablet layout app in Studio (the table layout will fill the desktop screen) 2) connect the app to your data source 3) build up the app and controls in Studio 4) run the app in a desktop browser via the link to the app I hope it helps!

There is a simple and free way to get data from my excel file to your pc. Just open excel app on your phone and there is a feature to take a picture to scan. In that way you can get the data on your excel sheet. However I will try to set up a way on our website for future files to be shared.
How do you add a new detail screen manually? I can find the edit form and main list under the new screen templates but cannot find a template for the detail screen.
There are many other data connections available as well ranging from common data service, oracle, sql server and many more. You can try any one of them.

Yes this is for the mobile app. Power apps also has the desktop view but you have to select that before creating the app

How do you add a new detail screen manually? I can find the edit form and main list under the new screen templates but cannot find a template for the detail screen.
Just connect that form to the datasource ( excel or SharePoint) and you would be able to see all the details
