Though with my opinion City maps are a friend to the Ferdinand as you can angle the case-mate not all will aim down on the corners. Personally the speed is great enough to make flank routes, map knowledge is key based on my experience. The Ferdinand is a beast at any ranges. It was once said in historians that Stug crew that knew the limitations of a case-mate and how to position a tank will definitely get high kill ratio and survivability
Thank you for the insight. I think a experienced player can play this tank from anywhere on the map. I also had good matches with close combat situations. The fast reload is amazing. There really was a time where I hesitated to recommend playing it only as a sniper or from the distance, but I always try to base my recommendations based on the biggest number of succesfull matches I had - and this was with while sniping. But I am happy to read that you experienced the same and that I didn't just dream or imagined that this tank is a beast.
Happy to help. Yeah I feel like 6.7 is the new 5.3. Of course it is due to the fact that the Tiger 2P also went up to 6.7. For me it really depends on the map, but most of the time I find myself playing the Tiger 2H since I just is more versatile
