the intro happens at every 1st episode. the names change - daphne to anthony to colin. then the woodwork/tree shows events/symbols of whats happening in the season
I think we're supposed to find Colin a bit douchey and fake right now, because it's not the real Colin we're seeing, as Lady Whistledown pointed out. It's a facade he's putting on. Maybe because he thinks it's what society expects of him and he wants to fit in? I suspect we'll find out for sure at some point later on. Looking forward to your next reaction!
Apparently the earliest forms of microscopes that were used in a decent capacity was around 1600. So they seem to have had them during Bridgertons time period.
I felt like the energy wasn’t really there I don’t know maybe because they were picking on Colin all the time I felt like they didn’t really understand him as a character
It didn't benefit the series to skip him, now he has rinse/repeat waiting storyline while Colin feels thinly built out. Pen is definitely holding her own though.
Microscopes were actually invented in the late 16th century, so they did exist in Bridgerton era.
Ooo thank you! We had no idea!

Yeah they did that with the names in the intro in the firsts episodes of seasons one and two as well

I think so too! After having watched the first half it makes more sense for his character arc!

Aaa good to know!! Thank you for the clarification!

You are right, we were very confused by Colin’s new personality, but his character becomes a little more clear with each passing episode :)
I was really disappointed they didn't do Benedict's book this season.

I hope you can react to the other chapters ❤
What are you thinking is different about the names in the intro? I didn't quite follow that.
