@rhymestyle agree 100%. I played Ursarctic woth their new support. If I got my setup going, I'd have my boss monster out and it would negate all extra deck monsters. But it requires me to not be interrupted
@@Relisan24 Colossus isn't an invoked nor an Albaz monster, and in a deck with bystials and invocation, getting a card banished does not really require any setup, those game plans do it for you, drawing nemeses corridor, to make colossus for free, when it isn't even a thunder dragon monster, this is no different than activating prosperity and grabbing summon limit

@@azaangeorge9552Yeah, the new support is on the more expensive side of things. Has for the combos strangely you do get used to them rather quickly has you play the deck gradually.
The reason for the split being fusion, xyz, and synchro is because of arc-v (the reward is literally Z-arc sleeves) also being able to switch teams was interesting. It was fun but most synchro matches were sword soul or red dragon.
Now if they would've banned Baronne from this event I'd be seeing less Sword Soul. Cause that deck is hard carried by Baronne. I've lost count on how many times I'd run into a sword deck and Baronne comes out after a 3-4 card combo. The sooner she's banned in OCG the better.
My favorite fusion...I would say the Gate Guardian fusions are my favorite. They have a lot of control capabilities. Although the new Mythical Beats are pretty good; I recently built a deck with them.

My favorite fusion monster (and my favorite monster in general as well) is five headed dragon, when i started master duel he was my first boss monster, i dint knew a thing about how good was a card or not, but i had a whole plan about bringing him about, even now that i know he is bad i still love this card i just think he is so cool i wish he had a retrain (i know there is the link but like a fusion one)
I like this event. I’m using the Chimera loaner deck and that one has been pulling me some sweet wins. It’s been most Fusion vs Synchros, I have yet to run into more Xyz. I only ran into a Galaxy Eyes.
I mainly play XYZ and Link focused decks, I've found. The one fusion deck I play right now is Tearlaments. In the event though, I'm playing Trains, which have been my favorite for a long time.
Had to rep the recent illusion chimera archetype for fusion, and finally got good use out of my resonator deck with recent support for synchro No Maxx C or Snakes-Eyes every game or 2 makes this event the most fun Ive had with yugioh in a while
i agree my deck barely has negates it just has a anti effect shield that prevent my monsters from being taken out except by a straight up stronger monster which i then bring back and banish said enemy monster telling them to sit back down a let me cook ya now
When Master Duel first came out there was some speculation that they were going to do an event where you can only use the legacy pack cards you pulled, which would help explain why they can’t be dismantled but that clearly hasn’t happened. We need the return of N/R format and some kind of draft mode. The Legacy of the Duelist games had a PvP draft mode so they definitely could do it in MD
Good event would be Yugi decks only. You pick between using a dark magician deck, new chimera deck, buster blader, kuribo, luster soldier. Have em duke it out and see what’s a better yugi card. We have so many now it could be done.
My dream idea, which would be such a pain in the neck to do, would be to have a Duelist Kingdom style (ie D&D) event that leaned heavily into the anime-style playing.
17:15 I have been wanting boss rush duels for the loooongest time lol. Essentially 3v1 duels with 3 protagonist decks vs a boss. Duel Links did it in the past and i always found it fun to take on a super boss with allies one step at a time. There are other formats i have wanted in the game too, but my main priority is this one.
I think they should add era specific events like GX themed and it's just cards that came out during that era or character specific decks were they have character decks to choose from
It's kinda wild my Ra Deck could allow me to play, just had to drop link monsters. But since Eygptian God Slime counts as a fusion it works. Not the most optimal deck to be fair, but gotta do some grinding for the next Deck I want to main UR resources is hell...
I played metalfoes for this event for the fusion side. And synchro side i played RDA, i didnt play xyz i dont have an xyz focused strategy and i dont use loaner decks
I love playing in the new duel mode. I have been playing under XYZ, and it has been a lot of fun using my tellarknight deck. Wished I knew more/other XYZ decks but this is the one I know and I like the art work.
I've played all 3 since I always go for the titles using Springans(xyz), Branded Witchcrafters and Swoswo. The card I like to put in my deck for no reason is my favorite card Iris Swordsoul

I've been playing Shaddolls since MD dropped, so I went with the Fusion team. Invoked Shaddoll has been doing well. Edit: To me, the coolest Fusion Design is Clorless, Chaos King of the Dark World. I would like it if Amazoness got more support. I love the Dommy Mommies. I love fitting Chaos Angel into every deck I can fit it in.
This event was extremely interesting in the ways that I didn't think it would be. First up, whatever team you're on, you never face another deck like that. So, for example, I started on Team Sunchro (since I'm a 5D's nerd) and never faced a Sunchro deck for as long as I was on that team. Second off, I did have to be creative for the fusion deck since I play Shaddoll mixed with Dogmatika. So, I started to use Vaylantz deck (not fully optimal since it requires some link cards to be better). Overall, it's a really interesting deck. However, I'm not really good with XYZ decks, so I might just use one of the loaner decks it has. Keep up the amazing content as ever Rhyme.
Some of the loaner decks in this event actually kind of slapped. I didn't have anything to play on one account but won a ton of games with the RDA, Dino, and Chimera decks. I did draw like 10 unplayable hands in a row with the Dark World loaner though.. They really could have given it Mothman or a few more ways to discard.
I had planned on playing Lair for this event, and then they banned exactly the field spell so i just loaded up Swordsoul for xyz cuz its the only fully built deck i have for the event
I played Xyz this event till I completed the title mission. Played Purrely, Sharks and Tellarknight. That last one is hilarious thanks to the 2 card-turn skip combo. They use the Imperm on the wrong monster every the time.
A type lock event would be cool. Though they would definitely need to balance it. But, like every card in your deck as to be locked to a single monster type. No ash blossom in a spellcaster deck. No, maxx c in a pyro deck.
I would love to play this event, but im having way too much trouble learning the game. I cant even get passed some solo trials because I dont understand whats going on lmao.

This event has led to my favorite duel so far where I got matched against a Hero deck with my Stardust deck. Actual back and forth was nice.
Yeah this event has made some very chill back and forth's, so far I've been playing Gladiator Beasts and having a blast with them!

The coolest fusion monster for me has to be Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon as its dark magician in a red-eyes armour.

To answer some of Rhyme's questions, Dragoon is the coolest fusion, and I'd either be playing for team Fusion or Synchro.
One of the coolest Fusion cards to me is Rainbow Overdragon. It's a really gorgeous boss monster, and it does a lot for a Crystal Beast Deck!

I built a Branded/Chimera deck just for this even because it's so much fun and it has so many great interactions and interruptions for your opponents.
I’ve been on a tear with purrely on team xyz, events been so much fun with a lot of back and forths.
I only ran into Galaxy Eyes from Xyz, but so many red dragon and swordsouls from Synchro.

For a big brain play, you could have crossout your aliester and then used super poly to discard invocation and then add aliester to hand
