- I went around asking the students at Oxford University which degree is the biggest red flag. And there was definitely an overwhelming consensus on which the worst degree to study at University is. (A few of them were obviously wrong about Law).
What degree do you think is the biggest red flag?

how is biology not a "proper" degree? i cant wrap my head around what he meant. i see why everyone else said ppe is a red flag now hah
he meant its not real because the coursework is irregular and sometimes not that difficult and its a memorization game sometimes

Best degrees: from top Russell group universities _ mathematics , law, engineering, architecture, dentistry, medicine. Worst: communication studies, media studies, businesses studies.
if a degree has 'studies' in it, it's probably bad (more often than not) as a thumb of rule

I want to study Media and Journalism but then again I also applied to BBA programs. I think the Universe is telling me to go study BBA since I got into 9 schools so far for BBA Programs and even a full ride to one school. Lol got rejected from most of the media programs.
Biology is a base study of so many specialities like biotechnology, biomedicine, biomedical science, biomedical engineering, medicine etc. what do you mean it's not a real degree? 🤨
well biology as a subject is the base but the degree itself isn't (what the guy means)
The only people I don't respect are business majors

@@alipaf2002 It's probably the closest thing that Oxford do. There is no pure econ at Oxford. There's Economics and Management or PPE.

@@peterberg12353 not the worst. the biggest "red flag" degrees. "red flag" meaning, there is likely an issue with this person (ie. egotistical if studying ppe)

It's a great video and fun jabs, but I don't know how you can consider it the best video you've ever made when there's no Barty cameos (just allusions).
I get that this is meant to be a joke, I really do. But it feels quite diminishing of my achievements. My content is much more than just the Barty character that appears from time to time in my videos. It's not that fun to always be second best to Barty by default, no matter what I post or do

All degrees at Oxford are pretty good - I interviewed a classicist, you can check it out!

@@neptune1525 We also have PPE in Germany. For example at the HHU in Düsseldorf as bachelor and at the LMU in München as master.

Based. People can piss on how aerospace mfs get 0 whenches but at the end of the day one degree makes money and the other doesn't.
