Pressure in a static liquid wrt container can be written as (rho)gh. It's not valid here in case of accelerating fluid inside the tube. We are considering shift from equilibrium and liquid is accelerating. The method in the video gives correct answer for simple cases of uniform area U tube.... If tube has non uniform shape and area then this method won't give correct results. ----- A physics fan
Doubt @ 14:23 since the tube is inclined differently on both side hence the area of liquid exposed to atmosphere will be different and hence A can't be constant. This difference in A will lead to difference in Forces (Pο A) on both sides ...
