Mortimer

An Accucraft Mortimer came into my workshop for a few reported ailments. After a new safety valve O ring it was trialled on a bench test and then on our line. The only faults found were a slow operating regulator servo damaged by oil ingress and the O ring above. The loco was stripped of its radio gear after this video was taken to remove the detritus and accumulated oil all over it. It now works as it should!

Sounds like and looks like with the bouncing cars that the wheel flanges are running in the ballast gravel
