Valspar Semi Transparent Stain review, color mixed nuts on treated wood

I recently bought 2 cans of valspar ceder tone. I also had 2 cans bought last year. The new cans turned my siding ORANGE!!! I thought it would darken after a couple of days. Now my siding is 2 different colors. Am glad I didn’t buy the 5 gallon bucket.

Based on the size of the nap your using, of course it’s going to come out darker. Your 1 coat is like 3 coats.

Have to use pre treatment and it will soak into the wood and be stain instead of painting

It is a 1 coat product so it will not absorb a second coat.
