I have one of these trains (Bachmann Big hauler) from my childhood. I’m about to set it up for my son, how do I know what size tracks to use? That is the only part I need to buy (I hope). Awesome video, a lot of nostalgia here for me!!
There is only one size of Garden scale, also called G scale, tracks. Buying track, you would simply look for the Garden-scale. I am not familiar with what's out there but I assume different manufacturers track are not compatible with each other, so you can't mix different brands together. But they should all have the same track width and your train should run on any brand of G-scale track.

Sound like there are different scales per your video? Or is that something else? Idk how to pick the right track for what I have
