Thank you Syd for such a honest & great reaction. She wrote this shortly after her grandpa died in 2018, she was 12. Her & her grandma did the art for the video. Angelina said, "This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in you heart, as it comes straight from mine." Stargate producer singer/songwriter Dakota posted on her instagram regarding the collaboration with Angie, said “This girls talent is freakin insane.”

Republic Records is so lucky to have signed Angelina, especially since this song fell in their lap. Stargate Productions (17 Grammy Nominations, 4 Grammy's) contacted Angelina about this collaboration which was already in the can when they played it for Republic Records founder & CEO, Monty Lipman. When he heard it, he had to sign her. Now all they have to do is promote & distribute it on radio & TV. I'm hoping either the Grammys or Academy Awards shows coming up, will play this song while they show people in the business that died that year. This came out too late to be considered for a Grammy on the next show, but maybe for the 2022 show. BTW, nice reaction!

DramaSydE, I have watched dozens and dozens of reactions to Angelina singing "Million Miles" and yours is the absolute best!! I believe you expressed what all of her fans and others hearing it for the first time initially felt. Angelina's astounding voice combined with the music, the lyrics, the artwork and the production quality are as good as it gets. When “Million Miles” came out on November 6th, I listened to it over and over again, and was in awe of its power. The more I listened and watched, the more I wanted to find a way to make others aware of this masterpiece. I live in a large U. S. midwestern city that has four major hospital groups, 25 hospice organizations and 150 funeral homes. I drafted a cover letter with an information sheet about Angelina, the complete lyrics of “Million Miles”, how it can be viewed on UA-cam and various ways to purchase it. I mailed the letters to all of them and asked that they copy the information sheet to give to families grieving the loss of loved ones so they can listen to the song and find some comfort and peace from it. The response has been tremendous. I encourage everyone to find creative ways to get “Million Miles” into the hands, ears and hearts of as many people as possible!

Syd, IMO, fourteen year old Angelina wrote, composed and sung a master work that will alway remain timeless and relevant. This is the most breath taking, awe inspiring, spiritually uplifting and emotionally moving debut song I have ever heard.
There is a common denominator amongst all of Angelina’s performances and that being they are riveting and completely mesmerizing. I find myself being being completely captivated and consumed with the sound of Angelina’s spectacular voice, the melody, the arrangement and especially the lyrics.

Hey! Missed you, guy! This original was about her relationship with her grandpa. But, she also wanted to comfort people who had similar experiences. What can we say that we don't already know? Sure, she's famous right now. But, with this original song and with Republic promoting it around the globe, she's on the verge of reaching a level that many artists can only dream of reaching. What's crazy is that she makes us all better people. Personally, she's in my heart and she'll be there forever. Reactors, regardless of their genre of choice, can't resist her. Some of them who think it's cute to use foul language, when they play Angelina songs, nope, clean as a whistle.

I have been waiting for you to check out Angelina's latest masterpiece! You have seen a lot of Angelina's stuff now, so I knew you were going to love this one. It's such a beautiful lyric. She wrote this one about her grandpa, but it's a universal message of comfort that can connect with so many people. The lyrics alone are incredible, but then her voice!... she sings this one so perfectly. It's got just enough "pop" to appeal to a larger audience, but still enough "Angelina" that you can tell immediately that it is her singing. ...and then this video with her grandmother's art... it's all just so perfectly beautiful.
I agree with you completely, there is a "fullness" to this. It's simple, yet very deep (much like her "what is life" song). It is both natural and meaningful. I agree that there is a place for "empty" music in the world, but I don't think we are going to be getting that from Angelina ;) Like you said... "one of the best in the game right now".... and even that might be an understatement... I think she might be one of the best of all time already... and she's just getting started.
Definitely an understatement. No other at any time nor anyplace has recorded the number of songs that envelops the harts of so many. It does not matter if they are covers or originals she conveys emotions others are not able to duplicate even in their own songs. If she continues she will be the greatest of all.

of a loved one, Angelina reciprocates with the difference being that Angelina's
message is one of positivity going forward. Back To Black won Song Of The Year
and I have no doubt Million Miles will do so as well. Everyone can identify personally
with this soulful, heartfelt song that she dedicated to her deceased grandfather.

For me, it’s still the very subtle things or innate choices of tones+ Vibrato AJ uses at the right time in songs to convey emotion..
This is the genius of this still very young and gifted lady..

I first saw Angelina about 5 years ago when her NGT audition popped up in my timeline and I've been a huge fan ever since.
I wasn't sure what her first song with Republic records would be like but tbf this is amazing. They have helped bring the very best out of her. This record is perfectly produced. Simple, clean, and stylish music, that highlights her voice rather than drowning it out. Can't wait for the Album 😁
