    His shot when he thinks he's not going to hit the ball at about the 20 minute mark. Splendid. An (ahem) eye opener.

    A great lesson. Really interesting and not really heard of anyone talk about this. My favorite part was when the described why the changes to the grip and how it will will be developed over time as improvements are seen. Fantastic listening and insight. ⛳️

    Stuart, this was an excellent lesson, again, using science and data to prove your point. Keeping it simple is the key. Sure wish I could find an in person coach as good as you in my neck of the woods. All of the ones I know teach status positions and not the swing. As for striking the ball, I never think about hitting it, in fact, I barely look at it. All I think about is making a full back swing and hitting with my trail shoulder. A plus handicapper told me late last year, that he doesn’t look at the ball, I then asked him, how does he hit it if he doesn’t look at it, and his answer was: the ball is stationary, since it’s not moving, all I need to do is line my club up to it in the direction I what the ball to go and I swing. He said, if I look at anything, it’s the low point in front of the ball, but it’s never the ball. I started doing that last year and it improved my strike tremendously. Every single time I think about hitting the ball, I screw up. Cheers.

    Fantastic video, Stuart! Really loving these live lesson videos and they’re a real eye opener! I’ve had lessons from many coaches and they all preach the same thing to cure a fade/slice… swing from the inside out, swing from the inside out!
    Keep em coming mate!
    Think I’ll be coming to see you for a lesson soon ❤

    This to me shows exactly what on-going golf tuition is all about. Plant the correct concept and then make sure it doesn't get unplanted on a week to week basis. Pick the thing that needs to be worked on and continue that for the rest of your life.

    Wow….another awesome video. I really appreciate your insight! I went and hit a few in the yard. My divot is slightly left. The ball is straight. I’d be better off with a divot parallel to the target line….right?

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  6 місяців тому

      Hey Scott, depends on you pr angle of attack in all honesty. How high do you hit the ball, low, medium or high?

    • @SML_12345
      @SML_12345 6 місяців тому +1

      After watching your video about “pulling the lorry” my ball flight is high. Love that video btw!

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  6 місяців тому

      Ok, if it’s high, it mean angle of attack is low. In which case your divot will look a little left after the ball. This is fine. Hope that makes sense.
